This is a really special place to stay. They had an elegant outdoor BBQ one night we were there that felt as fancy as a wedding. The service was incredible! My kids had an amazing time swimming in the delightful pool. Our family-style room was enormous and we had a lovely balcony. In the United States, a stay like this would have been much more expensive.

Not happy
I would not recommend this hotel, the bed which I slept in was not clean, looked like somebody had trodden on it with thier dirty shoes. Also a few other things where not up to the standard. Next time I will choose a different Hotel in the area. The restaurant staff where also very unresonable and not friendly.

Overall it was nice. The bed was not comfortable as it was two singles put together and they moved around when you slept. There was also nothing extra in the rooms, like coffee or tea. You pay a lot with not a lot of extra's...it was a basic room.

Fantastic resort outside Freiburg! Everything you need is on site- spa, restaurants, wineries. The dinner at the regional place was delicious. Everything is updated and very clean! Highly recommend and look forward to going back!

5 star stay and service
The hotel is lovely and located in a quiet neighbourhood which is what we wanted as we had dogs with us. The staff were superb, really superb. The pool and facilities are first rate. All in good condition and very clean. Food and breakfast is excellent quality. The main restaurant menu was mainly Italian but there are three restaurants onsite. Wifi signal was strong and work everywhere unlike many hotels. Great stay.

Excellent hotel.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights while we explored Freiburg. The room was spacious, clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning. The breakfast had a good variety of food to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. We only ate at one of the three restaurants, and found the food excellent. I would certainly stay there again.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice evening meal. Only issue was that we booked rooms with 2 single beds, but were given rooms with 1 double bed

OK for a short stay but needs improvement
Beautiful courtyard and good choice of restaurants. Pool was great however they must be renovating from the ground up as the photo's of the rooms weren't what we got on the 3rd floor. We had no blinds/curtain and sun was up at 5:30am. Also on arrival there was only one towel in both of our rooms despite double occupancy which shows lack of attention. For the price I would expect more in a rural location. Breakfast was good and service was friendly

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft. Sehr nettes Personal, tolles vielseitiges und leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Der Spabereich war sauber und völlig ausreichend. Die Anwendung war wirklich traumhaft

Tolles, hochwertiges Hotel mit super Frühstücksbuffet und Spa-Angebot (Saune, Pool etc.). Diesmal die Juniorsuite gebucht. Keine gute Idee, da Zugang raus über den Hof/Biergarten im Nachbarhaus ohne Aufzug und sehr hellhörig. Hatte bei dem Preis eigentlich ein tolles Zimmer im Hauptgebäude mit Blick auf den Pool erhofft (waren auch fast alle bei meinem Aufenthalt leer).

Geräumige Zimmer, sauber, Frühstück schlecht
Insgesamt ein schönes Ambiente mit geräumigen, sauberen Zimmer. In der Nacht hörte man jedoch hin und wieder den Abfluss recht laut gluckern. Das Frühstück ist für einen Übernachtungspreis von ca. 150 EUR sehr schlecht. Die Auswahl ist sehr überschaubar, die Brötchen zäh und das Rührei sah nach Convenience (aus dem Tetra Pak) aus. Der Aufschnitt ist nicht besser als bei den günstigen Bed and Breakfasts und absoluter Standard.

Etwas enttäuschend für diesen Preis. Der Umgang mit den Gästen ist rough, kalt und man fühlt sich definitiv nicht als „Kunde ist König“. Das Hotel wirbt mit Angeboten in ihrer Broschüre, welche es nicht gibt oder nicht stimmen (zB Sky-Lounge, Pool-Zeiten etc.). Für wenige Nächte ist das Hotel ganz okay, würde es aber nicht noch einmal buchen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels mit dem gleichen Preis, den gleichen Sternenanzahl oder Angeboten, ist das Schloss Reinach eher dürftig.
