Very nice hotel, clean throughout and staff were friendly. The only let down was that the bar had limited drinks - no vodka and poor wine choice!

Very nice room. Staff helpful and friendly. Changed my key 3 times when I noticed it was desensitizing in my smartphone case. Worked perfectly after keeping them apart. Only gripe I had was the sink drained very slowly.

This hotel was really clean. It was very hot in my room but I would just open my window when it was cool outside. You can also hear everything going on in your hallway. Over all it was a good stay because it was clean and the room was nice.

BAD PAINT SMELL & NO AIRCON
Don't go there! No AirCondition - although they claim they have. Bad paint smell in the Room - U simply sleep with Chemicals in the room. I have been staying in June 2019 for 4 nights there, check in late around 23:00. When entering the floor corridor a bad smell of paint, when entering my room it was even worse. I wanted to turn on the air con and open the window but no AirCon ( it was 35 deg - outside). There was a switch but it doesn't operate anything So I went back downstairs said the i moved from other hotel to this one due to the AirCon but it doesn't work and that I am an asthma sick and the paint smell is so bad. Do you have another room with working Aircon and no Smell? The receptionist said only tomorrow we can change your room. I didn't sleep all night and went again next day, they changed my room to another room same issues smell bad from paint and no Aircon. I came again next morning, they say that they are sorry no other room available. I asked to talk with the manager of the hotel but she was not available, i left a message to get back to me but till now no reply by email or tel. This hotel has no working air condition in all rooms, it has a bad smell of paint in the room since they renovate it but didn't give the paint smell to come out and just trying to make money over innocent customers that looking to put their head on a bed and rest, but find themself sweating and smelling all day and night.

The building absolutely has to update their air conditioning unit. The sheets were also lacking, as with 40 degree weather the bed only had a duvet for cover. Also, why not offer guests a bottle of water in the room?

A Quick two nights
Hotel was clean and tidy. room was clean and airy. No coffee or tea facility in the room.did advise cap on door and door knob came off .not a big thing but advised . Response was it happens a lot! Hotel is out of town but only a 10-15 minute Walk from Messe Conference Centre if you have to go there. Breakfast room clean and food was good. . Each morning the reception desks seemed to be overwhelmed with guest coming in for conference, so the queues to check in were long. Would suggest paying any bills the night before and just leave key on the desks. But was a clean and accommodating

Beware: Hidden costs are HUGE!!
The hotel was not bad overall, but there were two things that really affected my opinion of this hotel: The price of the breakfast was 18 Euros per person, and the price of the overnight parking was 22 Euros!! I thought both of those were a total ripoff. To pay for those two things would have cost me almost the same as what I paid for the room. I think that is a scam

Worst Melia I have ever stayed in!
I have stayed in various Melia hotels around the world and this, by far, does not live up to the name. Initial room offered smelt of cigarettes. It was a smoking room although I wasn't asked for preference. I requested a change as the telephone line in the room also didn't work. I was the give a room with two single beds for a reservation for one person. I asked if it was possible to have the beds joined, which the refused. I then asked if they could provide with a bed sheet to do it myself and they also refused. They stated they did not have any other available rooms. Having argued with rude members of staff for at least 30 minutes, I contacted Hotels.com regarding my problems checking in. Miraculously a suitable room appeared on the first floor. The water in the bathtub did not drain and appeared to be blocked. There were silverfish insects in the bathroom floor every other day that were coming through the carpet. Furthermore, the hotel advertises "sound proof rooms", which is untrue. You can hear people walking in the rooms above, doors slamming as early as 0700 hours on whichever floor you are on and on the floor above, as well as people talking in hallways. If you are expecting to sleep until late or have a comfortable lay in, this is not the hotel for you. There is also no option of a kettle in the room with tea like many other Melia hotels.

Great staff, rooms could be improved
A Double room was actually 2 beds pushed together (Meaning my partner ended up on the floor one night). They also didn't provide 2 mugs in the room with the tea and coffee facilities, but staff were happy to provide another mug from the cafe/bar. Staff were fantastic, friendly, and though my attempts at German seemed to entertain them (if nothing else) they had no problem speaking English. From making sure we had fresh Tea/Coffee or even ordering a pizza for us, they were happy to help with anything and everything we could think to ask.

Decent, practical hotel
Nice, clean hotel. The breakfast if good and the location, near Messe, is great for business trips. The internet, decent one, is $1/hour, which while annoying is not as bad. However, 4-stars is an exaggeration, the rooms are rather small, with not even a coffee maker or a safe.

Close to the Messe Frankfurt
They tried to get me to book directly in the future but the rates are much higher than the package I got through Expedia though breakfast was not included and is expensive at 18Euros. The restaurant is a disappointment re food quality.

convenient for the exhibition halls
Visiting Heimtex this year just for one night I wanted somewhere I could easily walk to as it's very difficult to get taxis. This is about 400m from the Atrium end i.e. other end form the city. Room was very quiet, friendly staff. Would stay there again.

The hotel staffs is not friendly and on their site they say they have free WiFi but not true they charge you 1 Euro per hour

Great room no wheel stoppers
The room was beautiful. My only problems came from the twin beds that were made into a double bed. They had no roller blocks to keep them together. Sleeping with my wife was extremely uncomfortable as we both had to pile onto a twin size bed. Other than that the room was great.
