Overpriced hotel for what it offers
Mediocre. Minimum amenities. Staff speaks no known language except Russian. Its only merit is being within walking distance to the fair . I will never recommend it, nor return there.

Very average stay, wi fi didn't work from was very basic, and is a good 15-20 minute walk from the train station, would say its more of a two star hotel, wouldn't not want to stay for more than one night

For the price charged it lacks all amenities . No elevator and mini fridge. Also no kettle for beverages . Nearby shops closed early and without amenities did not feel like staying in hotel room

Horrendous - NOT recommended!
The hotel was dirty, unkept and the staff were unhelpful. I had to change my room, as. The first was dirty, the carpet was full of dirt and stains, the shower didn't work and the sink was clogged with hair. After complaining to staff who insisted there were no other rooms, the manager magically found another for me. The second room was slightly cleaner, but stank from the open drain in the bathroom and the shower hose was stuck to the shower head with sticky tape. I would never stay there again!

Good budget hotel for visiting the fair
Basic older style hotel. Very clean and easy for visiting messe Frankfurt, only a 5-10 min walk depending on which hall you would like to arrive at. A good tip is to make sure you have the exact address to give to taxi drivers as there are many hotels thats names are simmilar (If not the same) when speaking english

Small rooms
Extremely small rooms and overpriced (at least during the Automechanika show). Would never recommend to any business traveler. Only the breakfast is acceptable.

Poor furnishing hotel
The hotel was old fashioned and in poor condition. It seemed that the hotel and its furniture had never been furnished in the past 20 years. A wear & tear fridge is still fixed in a cabinet. The room was tiny and uncomfortable. The mattress was not in a good condition. I spent one month in Europe for the purpose of sight-seeing. This hotel was the worst one in my travel. The stay in this hotel was an unpleasant experience. I will never stay in this hotel again.

Hotel is located between a Fire station and a main road, so many emergency vehicles pass by. It's close to the Central Station, but I would suggest finding a hotel nearer the city centre, unless you are looking for a hotel close to the Frankfurter Messe.

Fair Hotel - A Fair Price
You get what you pay for. A hotel with all the basics and does its job. However, this would not be a hotel to go to for a romantic get away or for a weekend to get away from it all. I recommend this hotel solely for its price.

Good staff, but old and ugly hotel
Although the staff of Fair Hotel was good, the room was very old, and the transparent curtains allowed the sun to enter in the room early in the morning (and besides, neighbours could see everything). At night, the hotel was a bit noisy and personally I consider it more a hostel than a hotel. I think you could have a better choice.

This hotel is in a convenient location and was very clean. The room was a single room so it was small but not to small for one person. The staff was helpful enough and spoke English pretty well. I would stay here again if I was traveling alone. It was a great bargain.

fair hotel - spotty internet, a bit of a hike
i was very disappointed by how spotty the internet was through much of my stay, especially since i had checked with various online sites and talked with the staff there to be sure i'd have good access during my stay (which i needed for work). in short, they have internet and it's near the train station, but it's not very reliable internet, and it's still a pretty good walk from the station (especially if you're coming from the airport). that said, there's pretty good, convenient turkish food along mainzer landstrasse as you walk from the train station, so it's not all a loss.

Nice and comfortable hotel, a little out of the center but within 3 stops in the tram from hauptbahnhof. very nice and friendly staff, rooms are clean.

This hotel is a budget hotel. Don't expect much. For me, it was convenient because my work location was 100 mtrs away. I wouldnt stay here otherwise. Only big disappointment was that there is no elevator in the building. It was a pain dragging my luggage up 2 storeys, with very narrow staircases.

The Fair hotel is an economic hotel for the people who do not wish to expend a lot. The hotel quality is in accordance with the price. When you go to Fair Hotel don't expect to find a very nice place, just a place to stay. So if you are in a limited budget, this hotel is for you.

Nice breakfast but not impressed
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good but overall the condition and location of the hotel was not what I was expecting. I had booked two nights and decided to leave after the first night.

Very much overrated
This hotel on my first trip to Frankfurt was a complete disappointment. There was no air conditioning in mid-summer, the concierge was barely polite and didn't speak any English, and the room smelled so badly of stale tobacco (and I'm a smoker.) that I left after one night. The hotel refused to refund any of my payment (I'd reserved a week.). I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

hotel 1 and hotel 2
after a long flight and a long day since we got there at 7 a.m. we were finally dropped off and left at the hotel by my family only to find out it was the wrong one, our hotel ( smame company ) was 3 long block down the road so off we went suitcase in hand. i guess this was my fault but i thought i was at the one on the mainzer landstrasse since the bus service would take us right to my aunts house. the hotel itsel was clean, the people working the desk were very nice, we did think breakfast was included but found ourselves paying extra for that, even so it was well worth the price and once again we were met every morning with lots of choices and a friendly morning greeting. Two things that were not good were the fact that it was really hot and there is no air conditioning we went out and bought two fans which i then left with my aunt when we left, and the other is that there is some sort of youth ??? thing next door and they are very loud but promptly at 10 everything gets quiet so i guess if you dont try to go to sleep early thats o.k. to. i would go back because for the price it was well worth it and it is close to everything.

Very Very small rooms, actually the smallest I've ever been in. The shower also not as clean as I would have liked... But I've still enjoyed my stay. The Neigbourhood was very conviened for me and also it is a relaxed place close to the center of Frankfurt , but not in it. Would I go there again? Probably not, but I would not want a hotel in the busy/nightlife part of town

Great hotel, tram ride away from the Stadium and downtown, in a neat part of the city. Also right next to a grocery store and a pizza place. 15 min walk to the main train station. Clean rooms, all the amenities. Very friendly staff who are nice about guests not speaking English. Free wireless. Supposedly the breakfast is great, never tried it. Wish list: Better pillows, fridge.

wonderful, friendly staff. always smiling and helpful. nice room, very clean. excellent breakfast (price sometimes included in reservation fee, this time not.) little distance from train station (about 15 minute walk) but for me nicely located. quiet area. nice grocery store around the corner for snacks or whatever you may need. near swimming pools in one direction(Rebstockbad) and shopping area the other direction. have stayed there three times already, will stay there again. would definitely recommend to others.

Komplett inakzeptabel
Obwohl bereits vor Monaten gebucht und bezahlt, wurde mir bei meiner Ankunft mitgeteilt, dass Hotel sei kein Hotel mehr sondern mittlerweile zur Asylbewerberunterkunft umfunktioniert. Zu mehr taugt es auch nicht, da ich in keinster Weise nachvollziehen kann, wie solch eine Bruchbude im Internet eine 3-4 Sterne Kategorie ausweisen kann, trotzdem aber 200,--€/Nacht verlangt. Aber wie gesagt das allerbeste: nachdem ich 4.000 km zur Messe angereist bin, steht mein Zimmer nicht mehr zur Verfügung und nach Stunden komme ich dann endlich in einem Hotel 10 km ausserhalb der Messe unter. Auf Nachrage wurde mir bestätigt, dass ich im Falle Fair-Hotel Speyerer Strasse kein einzelfall bin. Ich werde versuchen, mit Hilfe von expedia diesen Betrügern das Handwerk zu legen.

Gute Lage, konnten jedoch Leider erst nach 1,5 Std. unsere Buchungsunterlagen finden. Rezeption war nicht wie erwartet 24 h besetzt, Zimmer wurde erst 5 min vor unserer Ankunft gereinigt, war dennoch nicht sauber und wir mussten wegen der Reinigung des zimmers noch warten.

Als Aufenthalt kann man das leider nicht bezeichnen. Selbst der geringe Preis stand in keinem Verhältnis zu den absolut miserablen Zuständen in diesem Haus. Auch bei einer günstigen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit muss ich davon ausgehen, dass wenigstens die hygienischen Bedingungen eingehalten werden. Es war dreckig, Flecken vom letzten Wasserschaden an der Zimmerdecke und bei dem Duschkopf musste man Angst haben sich darunter zu stellen.

Habe ein Nichtraucherzimmer bestellt und fand den Rauch der anderen Gäste, der vom Flug durch einen großen Spalt unter der Tür ins Zimmer zog, äußerst unangenehm.

Da es eine Geschäftsreise war und ich ein günstiges Zimmer gesucht habe war es ok. Bad ordentlich ausgestattet, lediglich die Zahnputzbecher enthielten noch Reste des Vorgängers. Bei Sauberkeit und Zustand sollte man nicht so genau hinsehen ;-(

Nie wieder dieses Hotel
Beim Einchecken wurden wir zunächst ignoriert. Als wir endlich die Aufmerksamkeit des unfreunlichen und nicht der deutschen Sprache mächigen Mitarbeiters am Empfang erhielten, wurde uns wortlos eine Reservierung mit falscher Adresse vorgelegt. Das Zimmer war alt und unsauber. Die Toilette im Bad war dreckig und defekt, die Dusche war verkalkt.

L’hôtel est en train d’être rénové; donc c'est un peu la loterie : vous pouvez avoir une chambre refaite, ou ancienne et moins agréable. Calme et assez proche de la gare, du nouveau centre commercial Skyline Plaza, et de Messe.

フェアホテルは他にもたくさんあってどこのフェアホテルかわからなかった。地図でみるより案外遠かった。ホテルの近くにマーケットがあり役にたった。ホテルは改装中だったため朝からうるさかったものの、広い部屋で、いい時間を過ごせました。

Zur Messezeit MAplos überteuert
Ein zur Messezeit gut gelegenes, jedoch verlodertes Etwas, welches seine besten Zeiten schon lange gesehen hat. Dieses optische Desaster wird weder durch Service noch durch die nötige Sauberkeit aufgefangen, sondern untermauert das Gesamtbild.
