The service was not good at this place. The rooms lacked basic amenities. There was no chair only a bed, their was no iron, instead though they would iron your clothes for a fee. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have an iron, or a chair, or hangers. I ordered room service and it was supposed to be an sandwich with egg meat, cheese. Instead what they sent me was a essentially a grilled cheese, with the meat and the egg served on the side. I speak Portuguese so I know that this is not what I was supposed to get. The only water that was available for washing and showering was scalding hot, there was no cold water. The pool is nice but for a business traveller I’d never stay here again.

The hotel transfer us to other hotel far from Rafain about 20km and lower category. It was a trouble as the congress was running in Rafain. They said they had a problem with the room. They only provide one room for the last night only because I complained. They should pay attention on the needs of the guests.

Two Different Hotels Named Rafain
The hotel was okay, but it was the wrong one. I thought I was booking Rafain Centro, in the center of town, but it turned out that I booked Rafain Palace, several kilometers from the center. The hotel was okay, but not what I thought I was getting, and not at all the location that I wanted.

Hotel very nice, room dark and musty
This stay in November 2014 was in connection with a conference, otherwise I might have chosen a more central hotel. The hotel is fine if one has a rented car. The hotel lobby and restaurant and pool area were truly very nice, but our room - 342 - was very musty (damp and somewhat smelly) and rather dark even in the middle of the day because of trees outside the balcony. Our swimsuits would not dry there.

Not a US 4 start hotel
The hotel is currently in the midst of a major renovation and upgrade. I think that it was probably nice in the past but the decor was dated and would love to see what they do with it.The service was great and with an updated look this place could be truly nice. Breakfast was good each morning.

Foi muito bom o período que ficamos no hotel. Apesar de estar com parte da área das piscinas em obra, nada prejudicou nossos momentos de lazer. Os funcionários foram sempre bem prestativos. Acredito que após as reformas concluídas o hotel será ainda melhor.

Tivemos problemas com o checkin, fila de quase duas horas, cada atendimento demorava em média 20minutos, sistema não detectou a reserva. No bar do hotel, comidas frias e hamburguer hot pocket, macarrão ao molho sugo "imcomível". Nosso quarto veio errado, nossas filhas tiveram q dormir em um colchão no chão. Atendimento da piscina horrível, risível, pedimos fritas, vieram "geladas e moles".... pedimos cerveja tivemos que pedir 8 vezes para 4 atendentes.... todos perdidos.... qdo veio, veio quente.... INFELIZMENTE NÃO VAMOS MAIS NOS HOSPEDAR NO RAFAIN.

Quarto grande e camas confortável lençol e fronhas super branquinhos e algodão de qualidade, vi em outros comentários pessoas reclamando do café da manhã… olha quando eu vi com meus próprios olhos o café e tudo que tinha eu pensei : Tem gente que reclama de barriga cheia mesmo!! Gente o café da manhã e super completo não contei mas olhando por sima tinha mais de 7 tipos de pães, vários frios , iogurte, várias frutas , pizza … tinha tanta coisa e até canja no café da manhã !! Maravilhoso!! A noite tem um super buffer valor 70,00 reais por pessoa, quem não quiser sair para jantar! Resumindo hotel show! Parabéns!! Pontos negativos: um garçom queria cobrar 30 reais para abrir uma garrafa de vinho que tínhamos comprado e iríamos tomar no quarto! Aí outro garçom foi se informar com o chefe e viu que estava cobrando errado, é cobrado rolha somente se for consumido no bar ou restaurante, no quarto não pode ser cobrado. Outra observação de melhoria é que no banheiro do quarto não tem sifão então voltava muito cheio de esgoto e bueiro, cheiro horrível!

Hotel bem localizafo proximo a fronteira do Paraguai, o quarto era espaçoso reservei com meia pensão, o jantar para restaurante de hotel era bom, paguei a rolha para levar o vinho, como tinha vagas me deram late checkaut, enfim me hospedaria novamente

IMPECÁVEL! Comida, serviço de quarto, áreas externas, tudo muito próximo do hotel! Sem contar que aonde íamos e as pessoas viam a pulseira do hotel elogiavam nossa escolha. Detalhe: As pessoas que moram na cidade! Hotel maravilhoso! Voltarei sem pensar duas vezes! Sem contar o interno do hotel! Lindíssimo! Um ponto de oportunidade: Wi-fi fraco demais, não vou pontuar nota baixa por que mal utilizei o celular, mas o pouco que usei, wi-fi não foi tão bom.
