It was an unexpected cold snap at the end of October and the fire's not normally required after September. The TV is new and has been working, we will check this out.

Great you enjoyed your stay. Nice idea re the fireplace but we have a 1.5 hour travel time to do that for guests and we wouldn't leave the fire going in the bach unattended. It doesn't take too long to heat up as it's a small space. Thanks for staying.

Yes lots of fun activities over summer too including the wake board park which has an adventure ninja type course over the water for younger kids and of course the sea is more inviting then too! Thanks for your lovely review. Yes, have tried to make the instructions easy for everyone. The sunsets there can be amazing, you can see Mt Taranaki covered in snow from the beach, sometimes over the winter. We'd love to have you stay again sometime.

So pleased you find the bach a welcoming space for your work retreat. We appreciated your stay. The deck is being virtually doubled hopefully in time for the end of the year, so is a lovely space to look to the hills and over the houses to contemplate or just relax, breathing in the sea air.

The key used has been used for many years prior so I am unsure what happened this time around. It was unfortunate I agree and I did pay towards your dinner and give a later check out for the inconvenience. To turn on hot water you follow the instruction manual at the house and as outlined in the email to you. Alternatively, if out of gas, you replace the cylinder, again as outlined. I didn't get a message from you so am sorry that you didn't have hot water when you wanted it. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the time at Foxton.
