We got to the property and received our room key. I had to sign a document that said I had 15 MINUTES TO RETURN TO THE LOBBY IF I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE ROOM TO RECEIVE A REFUND. That should have been an indicator that there would be an issue. We went immediately upstairs to our room and open the door. It was evident that the room hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was dirt and pollen all over the floor. The bathroom had trash in it. And there was a foul oder. so I went to call the lobby and the phones were disconnected. We immediately left the room and went back to the lobby. We told him that we would like a refund and we did not want the room. The young girl working there talked to older gentleman and what I believe was speaking Hindu, and then looked at me and said abruptly NO REFUNDS. I kindly said, we just checked in less than 10 minutes ago. The room is a mess. It is not clean and there is an odor. We would like a refund now. And they said the best I could do is to come back at 9 AM. Then they repeated, “NO REFUNDS!”. They acted like they didn’t understand me…which is ridiculous since they had no issues with communicating 10 minutes earlier. I will be contacting Expedia and my bank about this hotel. It comes with a strong warning to anyone considering staying here. Look elsewhere.
