"We arrived at the hotel to the entire fire department at the hotel. No apologies were given and we had to wait after traveling all day because they decided with one elevator down they would put us with small children on the 5th floor. The elevator ran painfully slow and erratic the remaining time we were there and they did nothing to fix it. They offered no perks for the trouble it caused. I was stuck on the 5th floor at one point because the elevator wasn't working and the stairs were locked and when I brought this up to the staff the overall response was that there was a special way to open the door. There was no sign to indicate this special way and that's an extreme fire hazard. When I mentioned they should have a sign they seemed uninterested in my feedback.
Not one staff member mentioned the shuttle to the mall we had to find our for ourselves after paying to Uber there. One shuttle attendant was great the other watched as I struggled with stroller, bags and baby and didn't offer to help. Staff overall did not show a high level of customer service and instead were very standoffish.
The room was okay, not overly clean or nice. White sheets and blankets.... please stop this is just asking for messes.
You can't step outside and enjoy fresh air in the front because all you smell is cigarettes and black and mild. They should have a designated smoking.
I am very disappointed in this stay and they have a lot to fix before hosting families for the world cup next week."
