An elevator to the second floor was a welcome feature. Breakfast was not always ready when posted (7:00 a,m,) Dusty area under bed.We found it inconvenient that the hotel pool closed at dusk (Really??) Maintenance staff was very helpful and friendly.

The property was old and run down. The staff was limited. Guest services was locked during check out and I had to go looking for them. Breakfast was a joke. Breakfast is outside under a covered area by 9:00 they were out of food. Luckily there was a McDonalds across the road. You have to pay $10 for parking at this crappy motel also. Not a good experience at a all. I would not recommend anyone staying at this location.

Thank you for your review. Breakfast is refilled regularly and we apologize if it was empty at any given time. This is not our standard. We do our very best to accommodate every guests' request in a timely manner. This sometimes calls for our desk staff to help tend to guests' needs. For security, we may lock the office while we are away however, we are always reachable via your in room phone or the properties listed phone number.

The room was acceptably clean, sheets were clean, floor had been mopped, counters were clean. However, you could tell that it had not been deep cleaned in some time. Corners and ledges were covered in grime. Shower didn't drain and the bottom liner was coming up. Room door was very difficult to open and close and didn't seem very secure. Pool was nice, even though we were told it closed at 7 they allowed us to continue swimming later in the evening. Staff was polite and helpful.

Terrible!!
Due to some travels delay we had to stay here at the last minute. what a mistake. I paid for the room in advance thru Hotels .com but they still charged me $60.17 For what? I have no clue..Nobody knows anything when I call and they tell me to call my bank. TOURIST TRAP AND SCAM! rooms was terrible..like a cheap hourly motel with strange characters lurking around.

The hotel was a perfect location, near the beach and close to many restaurants, area was walkable, car was not needed. Hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Only got housekeeping once while we were there. Had to keep asking for towels and other things.

Filthy charged to park 10.00. Got bit during the night terrible. Almost thought about leaving and paying to stay anywhere else. We stayed at Wyndham in Pompano and it was fantastic. I just assumed this would be similar. We will never assume anything again.

Nice one!
Usually I don't like coffee hotels like this offer at breakfast but their coffee was good, not watery as the others. Joel's like this never serve eggs for their free breakfast that they offer, this one did and it surprised me although not very good quality egg. My room was nice, not spotless clean but it was cleaner than most. Nice descent tv, everything in there worked: the alarm, the microwave, the coffee maker, the fridge. Some hotels are really ass holes these, because they advertise them and you get there and they don't work. Finally last thing I want to say is that the room was comfortable. Only there was one those doors inside my room, I had two of them and the people in the next room sort of kept banging on it or trying to open it. But other that this was a very nice location.

Nice place. Crowded because of Spring Break. Breakfast is bare bones but adequate - and the porch was lovely and breezy; I don’t know how it would be in inclement weather. (The best deli in Ft Lauderdale is just across A1A.) My room was not made up until after 4 PM. Everything was adequate.

The Property did not look like it does in the pictures. The room was very basic, it did appear they were trying to fix it up as it is changing to a different name (maybe ownership?). Very Noisy, thin walls so there is noise from your neighbors, noise from the streets both front and back. The Breakfast Buffet was terrible and the staff was grumpy. Just Say NO!

The propety was ok, the facilities were ok. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The bed was amazing, it was so comfortable. In my opinion the only thing that lets this property down is that it does look a little tired and could do with some extensive modernisation

Too expensive for what you get
I wasn't bad per say but it is too expensive and old the beds are old and the bathrooms too small for the pricing Old hotel needs some upgrading and it is too expensive, I would not recommended unless you have to stay there I would rather pay a little more and get far more in terms of the room Plus I did not think it was quite clean

Awesome
In the listing it says the rooms have a 60 in tv. More like a 42. Other with the place is super clean. Chavonne, the night clerk went out of her way to make my stay awesome. Even helping me get my ps4 connected when I could get the connection right.

Nice place in a great location near the beach
Nice place in a great location between the beach and the inlet waterway. The room was spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. Service was decent and it was everything we expected for the price.

Liked that our room was provided early in the day. Unfortunately, we were upset with the condition of the room for such a high cost. The room is very old, has a strange smell and was very noisy all day and late into the night. They put us in room 201 that is directly outside of where all of the laundry and housekeeping facility is located. At night, the rooms next to and above ours were very loud. We needed to sleep early to get up at 3 am to catch a 6 am flight the next morning.

Parking charge scam
I was charged for parking even though it was not disclosed in an obvious place in the pricing or billing when I booked the room. The price savings was taken away by the parking fees. SCAMMERS.. Hotels.com allows it by hiding the fee in small print.

I had the worst service from the manager. I use to like the service but from no where all the rule where changed they charged me money for a vehicle that was not even stay in the property. Do the get money for a vehicle that it was just there for one night and kept the money they ain’t even refunded me the money hotels. Com did refunded

I stayed there on business so I wasn't looking for much other than economy and that's what you get. Some domestic disputes going on outside which required police presence. Not unusual as this is not a high end hotel. I would not take a family there but if you can take of yourself it's alright.

Pay hotel parking for staying at their location?
You will have to pay $10.00 addition parking fee... no street park. Read fine print. Otherwise not so close of walk to beach, probably 20-30 min walk to get to decent beach area.

Value for money
After reading previous reviews, we were sceptical, however we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean with a large bathroom, comfy beds, hot shower, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and free buffet breakfast. Relaxing seated pool area and washing machine and dryer. Excellent value for money for a few nights stay.

Clean rooms. Bad reception staff.
Rooms were clean but let down by rude and arrogant reception staff. I found them unwilling to help until I expressed my dissatisfaction. Firstly they didn’t have a room on the floor I requested despite the car park and hotel being empty and then gave me a ground floor room next to a family with screaming children. When I spoke to them about moving me their response was to call the family in the next door room and ask them to be quieter. I found this incredible. Eventually they found a more suitable room I was happy with. All of this bad feeling could have been avoided if they had got their customer service right from the get go.
