"I stayed for 1 week in Aurelie's apartment in Fort de France. If you want to live where the locals live then this place is for you. It's a clean, modest apartment with a killer view from the deck. I spent my time on the deck watching the sunrise or sunsets. The kitchen has been remodeled nicely and the internet is great, especially if you are working while traveling. "The balcony view of Fort de France and the bay is incredible and we enjoyed the jacuzzi after a day of trekking. ! The property is as per photos and Point du Bout village is only a 15 minute downhill walk for groceries, restaurants, beach, souvenir and clothing shop. There are also car rentals in the village. However; the walk back is quite an exercise because of the steep slopes. There is a 5 star French cuisine restaurant, Zandoli, just beside the apartment that we highly recommend."
