Great hosts, perfect location. Felt very central to everything and only 10-15 minute walk from the tram which takes you direct from the airport. The room it’s self was perfect with a nice continental breakfast in the morning and rooms cleaned daily.

Hard to find.
We spent over one hour trying to find it, although it is central it has a tiny sign and owner told me local council restrict size of signs, but hotels seem to have huge ones. Be aware of the stairs, our suite was on the 3rd floor, there is no lift, so think about your luggage. We enjoyed our stay, but it was short and we lost time at the start.

Dear Guest,the sign of our Guest House is not very big, it's true, but you knew the address and, if you had known how to use Google maps, you would have arrived in an instant; furthermore, it is true that hotels have a larger sign but the Guest House, as the name itself indicates, is not a hotel but a B&B.Best regardsRaphael

The staff and the owner are very nice and friendly and helpful . This is probably my 5th time staying in this property when I come to Florence. The location is fantastic , close to Duomo ( Santa Maria Flore ) and close to all the famous landmarks / attraction of Florence . Also , the price is affordable

Great location! It is about a block away from the Duomo! But still very quiet! However, it is on the 4th floor of an old building with no lift, lots of stairs. The problem that I had, it was not clearly marked where in the building it was, I wish they had a sign that said fourth floor, we didn’t know where to go. The room was beautiful, safe and clean!

Location location location is so important . It’s few blocks from Duomo and other top highlights of Florence . The property is very clean and Raffaele is very helpful . I love the building itself . The building is probably from 1600 . The owner of the BnB modernized the room but kept the beautiful old ceiling . So you really experience entering a medieval period when entering the building and climbing the stairs . And experience present as you enter the rooms

Dear Guest, in the surroundings of the Guest House at no more than 300 meters there are 4/5 parking spaces, probably you wanted a non-paid parking? Unfortunately in the city the parking lots are paid only and if you entered the ZTL without unloading the license plate in an authorized parking lot you will get a fine from the municipal police. You could have warned me at check in and I would have helped you. In any case, the Guest House is not responsible for parking your car. Best regards

We keep coming to this property because of its location … it’s a few minute walk to the Duomo and surrounded by good restaurants and shops . the cleanliness of the room is another thing we like . And the free breakfast . We wish we got refunded or credited to our next visit of the property for the one night that we didn’t stay . We got stranded in Bastia Corsica because of the transportation issue . Can Expedia help us on this matter . Thanks

Excellent location for all the sights and galleries. Room was a good size, and the bed very comfortable. Can't comment on the breakfast as it was severley resticted due to the Covid situation, therefore extremely limited. The room didn't have a safe, but to be fair, I often find this to be the case in Italian guesthouses. We would stay there again !

Elegant, quiet, and the owners were so much fun!! They made reservations for us and gave us great tips. Would recommend the off wheeler tour of Tuscany if you are adventurous!!

Hotel is in a good location close to sightseeing places. But it is not in Duomo as they claim it. It is on third floor (4th floor in US, because they do not count ground floor) and there is no elevators. So if you have heavy luggage be prepared. Room was tiny, shabby and had a glass bathroom built into the room. The bathroom is relatively new. When you take a shower the water spills on the room floor. The bathroom door is sliding and you can use either shower or toilet. The breakfast was good.

Pros: Location, room size, cleanliness and comfort Cons: No elevator to 4th floor so you need to carry your luggage up and down. However, hotel staff assisted when he was available. I highly recommend this room.

Amazing location great place to stay
Excellent location 2 minute walk from duomo and many shops and restaurants nearby. 5 minute walk to Ufizzi and the river/Ponte Vecchio. Clean and spacious Paris room. Modern bathroom and powerful shower. Staff polite, friendly, very helpful and accommodating Noisey at night there were loud bin wagons/street cleaners outside every night between 2am and 4am kept us awake. Bring ear plugs if you can. One side of our mattress had a large dip in it made for uncomfortable sleeping.

Awesome hotel and location
This hotel was awesome. The room was very spacious and clean. The ceiling had a beautiful painting on it like many of the museums and churches in Italy. The bathroom was the biggest we experienced on our trip through Italy. There was plenty of room in the shower unlike other locations we stayed. The breakfast provided was pretty good. There was no hot food, just pastries and cold meats and cheeses but there was a microwave if you wanted to heat something. The only downside was that the hotel is located on the fourth floor of the building and there is no elevator. That was a lot of steps to take each day especially with luggage. The location is great. It is one block from the Duomo near the center of town. Easy walking distance to most major attractions and the train station. I would stay there again.

The best part about this place is the history - it's pretty awesome to get to stay in a place built in 1300s and have a key to the building and feel like you live there. Even though we expected it from reading the reviews, the stairs were a pain in the butt. They were able to hold our luggage which we're grateful for and the breakfast was fine. There was a bit of a mix up at check in - they originally put us in a room that we didn't book (our room was a Queen bed with 2 twin beds and they gave us 1 Queen bed to share. They corrected this but only after we asked.

Convenient location, but not great
This place had a great location and the breakfast and staff were great. But we found a cockroach in the bathroom. And the staff "misplaced" my mother in law's hand braces while cleaning. In addition, the mattresses were lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. My sheets had brown streaks on them as well. Would not recommend this place.

Gorgeous suite
Such a great small hotel! We stayed in the suite and it is absolutely gorgeous and romantic. It is centrally located and just two minutes from the Duomo. Check in and check out was easy and though the breakfast was simple, it was fresh. Would highly recommend. The only complaint is the wi-fi in the suite only worked in some areas of the room, because it's under a domed brick ceiling, I think. Strengthen the router!!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The suit was a beautiful room and the hotel was very close to the centre with lots of great places to eat within a few minutes walking. Rooms were well kept and cleaned daily with great staff to assist with questions when needed.

Unique room in a historic building, city center
Beautiful property and authentic room - probably one of the coolest suites I've stayed in. Comfortable bed, amazing set up with bathroom in the middle of the room (surrounded by glass), shower was so unique and great water pressure, as well as the bath was large enough for two. 4th floor walk up (with no elevator) didnt bother us. Breakfast was simple but offered fresh squeezed juice & espresso. Staff was helpful (and spoke good English) and we were able to store our luggage. Location was great, central to all attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. We wish we had time to stay longer!

Loved N4U by the Duomo!
We arrived a bit after 9pm, so we had a pay a late check-in fee. The bathrooms are not attached to the rooms, but are all privately assigned and clean. Be prepared to haul all of your luggage up several flights of stairs, though the staff helped us with ours. Staff was always available and responsive. Our room was quite large. We wish we had more than 2 nights stay.

The room was nicely decorated, but on the 4 th floor and no lift. (Not mentioned ). No TV in the room . Unable to leave bags in the hotel if departing between 10:00 and 14:00.Breakfast however was very good, compared to many Florentine hotels.

My favorite hotel/bnb in Europe.
A very unexpected pleasure. I just came from the Excelsior Hotel in Venice and as wonderful as that hotel was I enjoyed this far more. The location could not have been better. The room was magnificent. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was a few doors down in a very nice restaurant. I would stay there again for business or pleasure.

Perfect location right in the centre of Florence. The hotel was roomy enough for the four of us to stay in one room. I was originally put off with the idea that the private bathroom was not in the room - do not let this put you off booking. Lovely robes are provided and the nice bathroom was located just across the corridor. It was not a problem. Breakfast was good and very impressed with the hotel.

Great location in Florence.
N4U Guesthouse is in a larger older building. It is a bit hard to find because the name plaque is small and you have to buzz in. The location is fantastic very close to the Duomo. It is on the 5th floor of the building and does not have an elevator. The room was large and decorated in a historic style. The bathroom was large and very clean. Lots of fresh towels. It was very nice and a very good value.

Very noisy at night from the streets. Lovely room though in the heart of it. Room servicing could do a bit better, no top sheet on bed first night,no coffee in room even on 2nd night had to ask. No reception when checking out with no clear instructions what to do with keys. Hotel didn't take payment off card which they should have done so had to pay with credit card when checking in, will cost an extra 18 euro for using card abroad. Not impressed.
