"Such a delightful place to stay! Really beautiful property with a great view. Location is perfect, it’s a super quick walk to fira’s main square. Loved my room it was comfortable and spacious, with a very nice bathroom. Felt incredibly safe my entire stay here. The hotel also has laundry service, which was very convenient, and a nice breakfast service that’s delivered to your room. The staff here is great, it seemed to be family run(or at least partly) and they were all genuinely lovely people....

"What an amazing stay! Beautiful property, modern and clean. The staff were so attentive and helpful, especially Elena, Yanis and Sophia at the front desk, they gave great recommendations particularly during the windy days. All the staff from breakfast, spa and bar/restaurant were so great. During a particularly windy day we used the spa and it was spectacular! Thoroughly recommend the infra red sauna! The location is perfect with easy access to centre. Walkable to bus station. "

"Everything about this place is so wonderful, the staff were above and beyond helpful. The breakfast area was beautiful and you get the choice to take your breakfast outside which we did a couple of times. Rooms are standard and in keeping with the rest of the hotel complex. "Danae Villas is a beautiful property just outside the main town of Fira. In a largely residential road, it is around a 7 minute walk from the shops and restaurants (be warned of a steep hill!). "Super impressed with this hotel from start to finish. From arranging a driver to pick us up at the airport, to sending people to take our luggage since there is a lot of stairs it was nice to not have to carry our luggage there. The pool is heated with a swim up bar and the bar tender was great. The room was very clean and the staff was on top of keeping our room clean and fresh towels. We had the most incredible views of the caldera and our own private heated plunge pool and balcony. I cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel. Staff was 5 star and so was the room we stayed in! Thank you Athena for a wonderful experience for the start of our honeymoon! "
