"The facility was acceptable. Room was clean. Breakfast area was nice and food was good. However, the presents/support/interest of the innkeepers was nonexistent. At check inn, the innkeeper spoke only German ( no English). We communicated with difficulty via a phone translator. "We had a very interesting stay at Cranach Hermitage. We loved its historical significance and how it has been so beautifully restored. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we booked the hostel, which was clean but spartan by comparison. Note also that bathroom facilities are shared. To be fair the rates were very reasonable. Reception service at checkin and checkout was top class. Breakfast was exceptional, high quality and classy. "

"This boat sails up and down the river part of the year and is at a dock the rest of the year as a hotel. It was great - rooms are small, as to be expected on a boat/ship, but were very clean. Rooms on one side have a really nice view of the water. There's a nice lounge area as well as the dining room. Breakfast was fantastic. Not really walking distance from the city, but staff were friendly and helpful and told us where we could park. Highly recommend."
