We were there for KIJHL hockey and this property is within walking distance. There are also eatery's nearby. The only negative really was the quality of the bed. We were only there for 1 night so was ok.

I know this is a hotel on the budget friendly spectrum when I booked it, but I did not expect to have a bathtub that still have other people’s hair left it in. And the laminate on the bath tub is “bubbling up” when I step into the tub for a shower, there is a bump of material separated from the tub itself. Mattress was thin and I could almost felt the springs that’s supporting me. No duvet was provided; a wool blanket was sandwich between a flat sheet and a cover sheet. In the middle of the night, the microwave’s plug some how got loose from the wall plug(perhaps from the light vibration from the mini fridge) and made a beeping sound which woke me up. Walls are very thin, I could hear the person using the toilette next door to me. Budget friendly, yes, but that’s about it

Good location, staff was friendly. Ski shuttle access was very convenient. The room had an unpleasant odour, and the floors and front of toilet were not clean (pee stains).

Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast good. Pool and hot tub. Bring ear plugs, lots of highway noise as it’s very close to highway and faces it.

It was convenient for getting to ski hill. Staff was very good and always accommodating. Hot tub jets did not work. Sauna was not working at all. Light bulb out in the kitchen area. Bathroom shower rod was loose and would not hold up the curtain very well. Bathroom was extremely small.The bed was comfortable. Nice to have a desk in the bedroom. Breakfast was satisfactory. Nice to have cooking facilities, but no linens were supplied so we had to use facecloth and hand towel to do dishes. Thank you. Our 3 days were enjoyed.

As always, I am very pleased with my stay. I stay here every time I pass through town, and it is always clean, pleasant and convenient. The staff are great, the room was clean and even had some new updates since the last time I stayed. My pets are always welcome, with excellent access to walking trails and restaurants. Breakfast is basic but just what I need before hitting the road again.

Convenient going fernie ski resort but downside is you can really hear the neighbors beside your room . It was good experience.

We got there and our door had clearly been kicked in. The frame was split. Asked to switch rooms and said the door needed to be fixed. Was told not to worry no one will come in. Not really the point. The place was not full and was told he couldn’t do anything. Won’t be staying there again

Hotel door faces outside, motel style, which is fine. Parking lot gets really full at night. Pool is very small and hot tub is even smaller. It was fine though. Would probably stay again, considering it was more affordable than other places, but room was comparable to other hotels in area, and the pool/hot tub is same exact size as the best western down the street.

An okay stay if you're just spending an overnight in Fernie. Anything more than this, and I'd look elsewhere. The rooms are okay, but could use a really good scrub down. The walls are quite thin, we could hear our neighbours tv clearly through the wall. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very basic toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and good coffee. The pool and hot tub area is fine, but the hot tub jets were not working and looked like this has been the case for a while.

One of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. My feet turned black walking from the bed to the bathroom from all the dirt on the floor. I would not recommend staying here unless there were no other rooms available in Fernie.

All around great motel. Breakfast was well stocked and done better than most continental breakfasts. Noise from the above group was constant which was unfortunate but not keeping me from booking again. Sauna needs a renovation with all the graffiti on the walls, but the hot tub and pool were well maintained.

We left an item behind and would have appreciated a courtesy call or text. Instead it was either taken by staff or thrown away. I know it is not the hotel’s responsibility but would have been very much appreciated

Great value
Stayed there with my friend's family for two nights. It was very convenient to ski at the Fernie. The two bed room suite with kitchen is a very good value if you have 5-6 people. Hot tub and sauna work well too. It reflects their name in terms of best value.
