"If you need a safe, clean place to crash this is t"
The staff speak mainly Spanish, but will work with you if you speak other languages to communicate with you. I arrived late and they were very understanding and helpful. My room was a double, and was very clean. There was no window in my room, but it did have air conditioning and a ceiling fan. It had all of the comforts of a three star hotel without the price! The staff assisted with coordinating my transportation to all my touring destinations. I was warned that they may not be able to keep my room while I was away touring the country, but it was still there when I came back and the staff cheerfully greeted me upon my return. They made sure I was always safe at all times. They made my trip fantastic!
While this is not exactly what I would call a hotel, more of a hostel, it was nice accommodations. It looks more like a house in a residential area. Daniel was very friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants, calling a cab, and just generally making us feel welcome. The rooms, while older, were neat and clean, and it was quiet. It is near a main road, so there are restaurants close by. There is also a complimentary breakfast. I would stay there again.
This was our third stay with Country Inn & Suites in El Dorado. We decided to return back there because they always take great care in cleaning the rooms and they treat the guests with respect. We reserved a queen sized bedroom but there were some problems with the room. Management did not argue but immediately moved us to suite that was an upgrade over our original reservation. It was the quietest air conditioned suite that we have ever been in through all of our travels. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and speaks English. They have a shuttle service to take you anywhere you need to go in the city for a small fee. Their breakfast buffet gets better with each stay. We will return there again whenever we have to stay in Panama City.
Locate in the residential area, close the city center. It is a very basic hostel, the staff can hardly understand english. Although basic, the hostel is okay to stay. I reckon there are lots of other better options, if one willing to pay a little more.
