The property was convenient to places to eat and right by the river. It was a perfect place to sleep and the breakfast was a plus.

Upon checkin I found the staff unprofessional. We had an issue with the reservation and needed help to resolve which was met with one employee badmouthing another. They did finally get the situation rectified but not before we heard all about the incompetence of the staff. One of our rooms smelled strongly of smoke which this is supposed to be a smoke free environment. The pool was nice for the kids. Breakfast was adequate but there was no milk for the cereal and no one present to help provide it. Overall just ok.

This is an old rustic hotel. It's a good deal for what you pay for. This is not for you if you prefer luxurious hotel. The walls are thin so you can hear people talking when they are loud inside their room and also when outside. The lady next to my room was talking on the phone and was really loud. Over all, it was quiet past 10 pm. The beds were comfortable. I recommend this to someone who is not picky.

The rooms were dirty, the beds were smaller than advertised, the fridge was missing legs, there was no clock in the room, and the plugs were loose so everything plugged in fell out. The bathroom was very small for the size of the room. The pictures of this place are misleading, it is a motel, not a hotel. The pool was quite small and the depth was mislabeled. The staff seemed like they were on drugs and were usually out right in front of the sliding door, chain smoking cigarettes. Breakfast was not as advertised and the homeless in the area were allowed to come in and eat the breakfast ahead of the guests. They have a small business center for guests, but it was locked out and the employees did not know how to get in so there was no using the printer/computer offered. They offer books and games to borrow.

For some reason (which I think spawned from the wonderful mural painting of the redwood in the pool area), the Redwood Riverwalk gave me a Twin Peaks-esque vibe, which I really appreciated. The personal was super sweet, and the vibe really chill.

The property is in a location that doesn’t lend to walking to restaurants, although a good craft brewery is close by. Receiving host wasn’t too helpful with visiting info sources. The rest of the staff were good.

I enjoyed that it was a small cozy little place to stay, I absolutely love that it’s dog friendly and has a little patio out back to just sit and watch the sunset very satisfied customer and yes I will be returning!

Well when I asked for room service we didn't get it on our first night we had to go downstairs and get our own towels and they were out of towels so we had one bath towel and a handful of hand towels to take a shower that night and next morning with but the next night we did have the room service that we were supposed to have

The pictures of the rooms were of a different hotel. The room was clean and newly remodeled in a cheap way. The bed hurt my back. Just not as advertised. It was clean but cheap looking.

So my room looks like it’s in the middle of some updates. A bunch of drywall patches and other things that need to be fixed. None of the staff was very friendly. I walked by 4 or 5 that never even said hello. The pool was nice though there was a huge clump of hair floating around that was kind of gross.

Great location!! This was a perfect location for moving around Fortuna and Eureka. Very accessible to the freeway. Right next door to Eel River Brewing Company. Food there was excellent! Highly recommend staying at Redwood Riverwalk!

Front desk staff was rude and explainably so as they were quite sick. Breakfast was sub par at best and there was no coffee. The bed was like sleeping on a board. Cute aesthetic, maybe decent in the peak season but not comfortable at all.

Its a nice place it was quiet and my room was pretty clean just a cpl body hairs in the tub got missed during cleaning. Other than that was clean enough. Parking kinda not the best as i was in a room on the other side of building and hallway was a little dark. Breakfast was pretty decent especially for the price of the room. Front desk guy was polite at check-in not very friendly but it was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here if youre looking for the best value on a budget.

Somewhat clean. Rooms need to get updated. All the towels were pretty old and very discolored. The lobby attendant could use some customer service classes. Tossing my credit card and ID back to me instead of handing or placing them on the counter. My wife asked for a spare blanket and she tossed towards her on the counter without saying anything and just walking away. As if she was annoyed by the request.

I love having the River right there for a dusk or dawn walk. the breakfast is fresh and different than the chain buffet. The staff is always helpful. I do wish they had some other EV charging options as I don't have the Tesla adaptor.

Just so-so for the money
Just a so-so motel......nothing "boutique" about it. The price was just shy of $100. a night. Spend a few extra dollars to upgrade to a nicer location and a more up-to-date motel. I must say the rooms had at one time been remodeled as well as the front lobby. It is not the worst place I have stayed but it was clean and acceptable for the one night, except for the smell of dirty feet while sleeping in the bed. Will not stay here again.
