The breakfast was very good including the coffee (not everyone has good coffee). There is plenty of off street parking in a secure and well lit parking lot behind the building. There are actually 2 buildings and one appears to be all suites. I suggest you request a room in the suite building. You might also request a room towards the back of the building as street noise could be an issue for those who are light sleepers. Finally, if you plan to visit the wineries in the area plan to do so early as most close at 5:30PM after September and there is no seating because of COVID, at least in our experience.

Thanks so much! The wineries vary in their ability to handle inside seating for tastings; I expect this will improve as events move indoors.

The house is Victorian era and kept in the same motif. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They had jars of homemade cookies for an evening snack and coffee/tea are on each floor plus plenty of cold beverages too. The breakfast was on time and delicious! I wish it wasnt so cold the night we stay would have loved a walk around town to sit at the park. We will be back!

The bed is so sumptuous and comfortable! There is delicious coffee or tea always available, as well as bottled water and gingerale. They make homemade cookies available for the guests, and they are always delicious! The rooms are clean and well appointed. And the breakfasts are so incredibly delicious! We've been several times, and will always choose Grape Arbor Inn for when we go to visit our favorite Lake Erie wineries.

Cute B&B in a beautiful tow
Historic home converted into a B&B. Absolutely fantastic four course breakfast and a beautiful library.

Charming house. Nice room. Only bad thing was size of shower. Kept turning water as a rotated in shower. I’m not a small person, but am not the largest. If your waist line is over a 40, it’s tight.

Thanks for the feedback! Two of our rooms do have smaller showers; the original renovation fit them into smaller spaces to make sure that each room did have their own bathroom. Much larger baths are available in all of the suites!

Staff supremely friendly and professional. Lovely suite of rooms. Property full of character. Amazing breakfast - if slightly unusual morning fayre for us Europeans. Very accommodating!

We like the old fashioned comfort of the place, and its location in the town of North East. The breakfasts are excellent. We thought the available soap bars were a liitle too small.

Nice place to stay
We got their lowest priced room. It said "air conditioning", but that was building air conditioning and heat. The room didn't have its own thermostat. When it became too warm in the room, we tried to open the windows, but they don't open so we used the ceiling fan. Don't know if the pricier rooms might have had their own thermostat. Other than that, the room was great, very attractive (as was the house), and had a feel of an old southern home. We enjoyed it and the breakfast was delicious and filling.

Mother’s Day Get Away
The grapes of arbor staff made me and my mother’s mother day we can’t stay up most rememberable one of the rooms were beautiful the staff was pleasant the food was great and homemade every morning we were asked how things were making sure that we were OK me and my mom are planning to go back

Since we arrived in town earlier than expected we called to see about checking in an hour earlier and the inn keeper Peggy was very kind to say yes snd met us there. As soon as you walk in you can smell fresh cookies baking and are served homemade daily. What a great experience!

Charming and well appointed B & B. The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It would have been nice if there had been a sofa/love seat or ottomans for the chairs in the living room, but otherwise the bed was awesome and comfortable. The Breakfast as reporte in other reviews was incredible and delicious and well worth the stay! The GPS directions are slightly wrong, but they were working on getting that fixed. Highly recommend this B&B!

Lovely place but...
Not happy with check in, went in through the door and was there about ten minutes, I called etc but no answer. When someone did come out I was told in no uncertain terms I should have rung the bell on the door outside. I hadn’t seen the notice! Quick run over things with the keys etc then never saw the lady again. The room was very nice but on the ground floor with what can only the be described as a cupboard converted into a bathroom and you could hear people in the hall whilst in the bathroom. Breakfast redeemed things four courses and a lovely waitress. I’m sorry but I would not stay here again, I did not feel that there was a very welcoming atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed in the lovely Grape Arbor while we were visiting family in North East. Our room was perfect, the breakfasts were delicious, and April went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and well fed! Great B&B (especially the latter B!)
The Grape Arbor is our favorite stop when we travel westward to visit family in the Midwest. The most outstanding feature is the breakfast. Be sure to set aside time and appetite for the many delicious courses.

Beautiful B&B but has cats
This was a beautiful B&B, very convenient for the Lake Erie wine region. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, with so much that we couldn't finish it. Both our hostesses were very nice. My only issue was that there was no warning that there are two cats that live at the B&B. My husband is very allergic. Fortunately, they are not allowed in the guest rooms, so we were able to stay, but we had to leave quickly in the morning after being in the breakfast room where the cats were. It is a really nice place, but they should let people know about the cats - if I had known I would not have booked the room and my husband wouldn't have had to be allergized for the rest of the day.

This was very gross to walk though the breakfast area an watch a cat jump up on one of the tables and sit right in the middle of it. (butt square in the middle). We were very careful not to sit at that table the next morning. The place is quite run down and the breakfast was OK. We mis-calculated this place when we booked and will never go back!

We had a great stay, breakfast was PHENOMENAL. However, we got there Saturday evening and everything in town was closed as well as sunday. But the b&b was amazing. Would recommend.

First and most memorable, the hot breakfast we had was to die for!!! Wonderful food and we ate with another couple who were staying there and had one of the best meals of our two week trip across the county. The staff was kind and checking in and out was a breeze. The room was nice, although carpets and beds could use replacement. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Also, we had a room on the main floor with it's own bath, which was great except the walls were very thin and while in the restroom we could clearly hear all that was going on in the main hall. That being said, we were certain any of our restroom activities could be heard by anyone in the the hall! It felt awkward to say the least . . . Maybe a different room would be more comfortable.

Smack dab in the middle of Lake Erie Wine Country
We stayed for 5 nights and woke each morning to a scrumptious 4-course breakfast, all home-made delectables and fresh fruit to boot! Our room was exquisite and so very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Peggy, Leann and April were so very sweet & kind and made us feel very welcome.

Road trip
We stayed on our way to Niagara Falls. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The coffee pots where you make your own coffee were awkward and hard to work. Did taste good. Never saw one like it. Over all a good experience.

Grape Arbor pays attention to detail!
My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at Grape Arbor. We stayed in the Steuben suite for 2 nights. The decor was what you would expect from a b&b. The suite had 1 and a half baths which were more than adequate and even had washclothes just for a made-up face which I appreciated as I always feel guilty leaving makeup on white clothes. The home is super cute and has a bunch of character. The Innkeepers paid attention to detail with the sheets smelling amazing and offering cookies and a coffee machine that could be used through the day. The decor was what you would expect from a B&B and the rooms were filled with all sorts of books to be perused at your leisure. The library also had games and movies to be borrowed. Breakfasts were amazing each morning with a fresh baked bread and breakfast pastry, fruit and choice of main breakfast entree. The first morning it was semolina rolls, blueberry crumble, baked peach with berry sauce and fresh whipped cream and then a choice of an egg casserole or these divine lemon pancakes with sausage. The next morning was a multigrain roll, cherry danish, fresh melon and choice of smoked gouda and ham egg casserole or French toast with Canadian bacon. The Grape Arbor was a block away from the center of town, a few minutes from Lake Erie and many wineries and a short drive from Lily Dale, NY, if mediums are your thing. We would totally stay there again.

Train whistles and cars on Main St are disturbing
The description does not mention you'll be awakened by the nearby train whistles and have the noise of being on Main,St as well. From the photos I thought it was more out in the country and would be in a more rural quiet setting. The upstairs floors are squeeky too. The GM never smiled and seemed bothered by requests. The breakfast staff rushed you through your 4 course breakfast eager to get their shift over with not how you want to be on vacation. Another guest suggested using Google maps so you can see up and down the street etc. Wouldn't show the noise especially of the train whistles however.

Delicious breakfasts!
While the very small town of North East is not too stimulating, the food at the Grape Arbor B&B is excellent. Very creative recipes, like the baked peach with yogurt and berry sauce are inspired. We stayed in the Cabernet suite, which is nice and roomy, with a very nice bathroom, including a two person jacuzzi tub. We were not thrilled with the town, but the Inn is quite nice and we would recommend it.

A little place right on Lake Erie.
The breakfast was out of this world good. Lake Erie which is less than two miles away presented us with a beautiful sunset. Peggy was gracious and helpful.
