Very good place to stay in calafata. very good staff and very helpful staff . It’s not bad as a budget hostel, I never did fins the bathrooms, and the breakfast isn’t. You can pay for the upgraded breakfast but I’d suggest making your own or just going out. All in all it’s ok for the price you pay.

Good hostel for a few nights stay
Good hostel. Breakfast is decent. Liked the room and surroundings. Surprisingly very quite though, like people don't mingle. Wonder if it's because the location is longer walk from downtown area and it wasn't at full occupancy.

Nice hostel with really helpful staff
The private double room and bathroom was nice and great to have dark curtains which is a nice treat in Argentina. Breakfast was basic but fine and plentiful. Staff on reception really helpful, even with personal bookings not related to the hostel.

God awful
I have very little good to say about my stay... the only thing is that when we checked in the girl at reception helped us sort out our pick up times for the tour the following day... other than that... AWFUL! Our room type (twin) wasn’t arranged as booked and confirmed so we were given 2 options: pay an upgrade to a twin superior room (seriously??) or to convert the beds from a “king” to 2 single beds... which we did changed all the bedding etc ourselves but I am still waiting for a duvet as I was promised 3 times it would come to my room (still waiting!) had I had my scissors st hand I would have split the king duvet myself... breakfast was poor, just bread pretty much and the cleanliness... left much to be improved on!

Reasonable price
Typical hostel but fantastic front desk staff (Carlos). Walls are paper thin so you hear everything but headphones fixed that. Hot water was out if few times during my 5 days and water pressure is pretty light. But you aren't in Calafate for that! Cheap beer and food in the on site restaurant and only a quick 10 min walk into the main part of town. Would stay there again!

Nice hostel but little pricy
Like evetging in el calafate, this hostel is a little pricy for cheaply built accommodation, but it was clean, there was a nice overall atmosphere and the staff (multilingual staff) was giving out lots of advise and recommendations

Friendly hostel away from town
The hostel was fairly standard. The room and facilities were clean and staff was very friendly and available to help. Breakfast is minimal (cereal, toast, and coffee), but there is a shared kitchen to store additional items if desired. This hostel is a bit far from town for the price and requires some walking for all errands. Taxis can be arranged by the staff, but was more expensive than expected.

Great Staff
Staff was great! Also, every shift had an English speaker which was extremely helpful. I had a private room with bathroom, I could literally hear every word the people next door said to each other as if they were in the room with me. I think it was because the bathrooms were back to back with extremely thin walls. Lost a piece of my laundry but when I ask they found it. Housekeeping cleaned my room and decided to toss some ziplock bags that I used to pack with...very frustrating as you cannot really buy them in Argentina! Overall, adequate but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I heard every door and every key within at least a 2 room radius on either side of me EVERY time they couldn't get the key to work, slammed their door, listened to music, argued, laughed etc. Room was a very nice size for 2 people, lots of electrical outlets. My friends in the shared dorm here had to charge their devices at the front desk, no outlets in the dorm room apparently. Kitchen area, shared seating, shared dining area, restaurant, outdoor area to relax all great!

It was the worst room we have stayed in our whole life and we have stayed in more than a hundred different rooms around the world. The walls had shoe marks and scratches and dead insects on them. The room was obviously not cleaned as you could see dirt and even pieces of paper on the floor. The door didnt close properly because it was so old and destroyed. We avoided spending more than necessary in the room. It felt like it was out of a nightmare. A smelly, disgusting nightmare. We stayed at room 29 which seemed to be in the worse part of the hostel and paid 55euros for one night.

Boa hospedagem.
O staff é bem atencioso, com um bom café da manhã. Fomos alocados num espaço com três camas, que fica acima dos outros espaços. Chegamos por volta de 22h30 mas a cama ainda não tinha sido arrumada para nos recebermos. E nós mesmos arrumamos a cama e não tem janela. Os espaços de uso comum são muito bons e amplos, a música ambiente deixa mais agradável. A cozinha, no entanto, não tem tantas panelas assim e, as que existem, estão muito velhas. Não há marcação de nome nas comidas deixadas na geladeira, o que pode ser um problema.

Feo, sucio y alejado. Arañas en las habitaciones, no hay cubiertos en la cocina, sabanas viejas y con olor a humedad. Ducha incomoda, no tenia agua caliente y salía poco. Incluía desayuno el cual no pude usar porque no lo pusieron a tiempo.

Het gebouw is prima. De keuken zeer ruim, maar slecht uitgerust. Bestek moet je bij de balie gaan ophalen. Het is nog allemaal jaren 80 daar. Ik ben 1 meter 90 en mijn voeten hingen over het smalle kinderbed. De ontbijtruimte is heel gezellig, maar het ontbijt is matig. Je krijgt jam op een omgedraaid dekseltje. Roerei is 1 eitje gekluts in een kommetje en koud. Wat het bijzonder maakt is de zeer goede hulp van de 2 mannen aan de balie bij het regelen van excursies. Het ligt in een straat die tot een achterstandsgebied gerekend kan worden. Voor het geld geen slechte keuze. We zaten 1 dag zonder water, maar dat konden ze ook niet helpen.

Me gustó el trato y la ayuda del personal en todas las consultas que tuvimos! Me gustó mucho tambien el horario del desayuno, adaptado al horario de las excursiones y transfer, cosa que no ocurre en otros hoteles tambien de sitios turísticos. Hubiera preferido check out un poco mas tarde el último día antes de coger el avión.

Excelente lugar. Mi amigo y yo nos equivocamos al hacer la reservación con las fechas y amablemente nos pudieron corregir ese error ya que tenían disponibilidad en las otras fechas. La atención fue de primera y las habitaciones muy lindas. Totalmente recomendado.

Good big hostel
It's a realy nice hostel I really like it. It's big so their is space in the kitchen, in the bathroom. It was perfect, the bulding is a bit old but that's okay for me. The only negatif thing is that it's a bit far from the center. But good location for the bus terminal and if you hitchhike.

Muy lindo hostel
Muy lindo hostel, la atención es excelente y el lugar también. Tiene una cocina y salón para comer muy grande, lleno de gente de todas partes del mundo. Las habitaciones son lindas y están super limpias, y el desayuno riquísimo!

Razoável, mas longe de tudo
Hotel regular. Para uma cidade cara como Calafate a relação custo/benefício é boa. No entanto, o café da manhã é medíocre, o conforto do quarto privativo é pequeno, não há sinal de internet nos quartos e o hotel fica muito longe de tudo, prepare-se para andar muito.
