This is an elegant old hotel with lovely gardens and a great view of the bay. Restaurant was very nice with fantastic views and excellent food. Best crab cakes ever! The main part of the hotel is original with low ceilings and uneven floors, and has several nice sitting rooms, nooks and alcoves. Reminds me of some European hotels I have visited.
My husband and I were on a business trip and decided to stay at Tidewater Inn. It was such a nice experience and the staff was superb!..we decided to go to walk around the area and found beautiful art galleries and cafe's.
-The room was small and cozy and didn't mind the small bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want tranquility....we certainly would like to go back.
I stayed 3 nights with a relative in mid-January, so we had many facilities to ourselves. It was well-appointed, convenient, reasonably priced, and very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful without being at all intrusive. A cheering, invigorating, and restorative experience!
We had a wedding in nearby St. Michaels and did not want to spend the big bucks there. We could not have had a better experience anywhere even for more money. It wasn't luxurious but the rooms were very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate. The staff could not have been more helpful. As I said I was pleasantly surprised.
*For these trips, trip savings is at least equal to the cost of the flight or hotel if booked separately. Note: For trips including flights, you will be charged by the airline for the flight, but your savings on the trip will equal the cost of the flight.
