Parking is much easier (and cheaper) than we thought and with buses and trains available, you can choose how you tour around the area. "I am not sure where to start...this was a great base from which to explore Southeast England. Beautiful flat with comfy beds overlooking a lovely garden and view of Hastings. I was a little worried with our 6 foot boys that they would struggle with the bunk beds but they had no issues.We found on street parking was always available. A small grocer around the corner is nice and laundry is not to far away."

"The apartment was well situated close to lots of cafes, art galleries, supermarkets and bars. It is also a 5 minute walk down to the beach and magnificent Goat Ledge cafe. I was really impressed with the property manager after I accidentally snapped the key off in the lock to the apartment at 8pm. "We were really pleasantly surprised with the size of the property and it was clean and well equipped. It was in a great location between the town & pier and the marina. There was always space to park even it was sometimes a little bit down the road, so no problem there. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time away and would happily recommend it to family and friends. "What a quaint little place this was! We loved our time in Thorpe Bay and this little apartment was just perfect. One note is that I believe there had been an animal sitting on the sofa because I had a horrible allergic reaction the night we were there after laying on it. I am more sensitive than most and soft surfaces do retain traces of animal hair/dander longer.
