The staff were so, so helpful with everything. I liked the free shuttle within the 5-mile radius of the property & on weekends. What didn't I like? the mattress in my room needs an upgrade and the little kitchenette area need a sink, I had to use the sink in the bathroom for cleaning my personal cup that I travel with.

The Hilton Garden Inn/University Medical Center is walkable to several restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. It is >10 mins from the Duke University campus as well as downtown Durham. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

I chose it because it was near where I needed to be. The rooms do not have USB ports. There were used condom wrappers in the nightstand. This was taken care of after I notified the desk. I expect more out of a pricey hotel.
