The hotel has an absolutely unbelievable breakfast! We totally enjoyed the variety of food, different cream cheeses and jams, and a winner of all - German bread of various kinds. My husband and I especially appreciated smoked salmon and white smoked fish for breakfast. It's too bad we only had a 1-night stay due to our itinerary plans.

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, short walk to Alt Stadt. Friendly staff, nice spa. We Street parking is scarce - best to pay for hotel garage parking.

Great Breakfast
I have regularly stayed in this hotel in Dusseldorf. The rooms are always clean. The room I stayed in had a balcony. Check in was quick, despite only making the booking about 10 minutes prior to arrival. The breakfast is always the highlight with a large choice of dishes, despite the hotel have a small number of rooms.

Exceptional, clean hotel
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was exceptional, extremely clean, had an elevator and parking options on site. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. The breakfast was very very good, home made jams, bacon, eggs, sausages and many more things offered. I would stay here again when I return to Duesseldorf.

The hotel was in a good location in Duesseldorf with some trendy-looking cafes, restaurants and shops nearby; it was a 15-20 minute walk to the Altstadt either through the Hofgarten or along the Uferpromenade. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean and there was also a balcony which would be pleasant in the warmer months. The breakfast selection was wonderful with a wide variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread and homemade jams. There was a huge range of cold meats, cheeses and bread toppings as well as boiled/scrambled eggs and sausages. To drink there was a variety of teas and fruit juices as well as coffee! The hotel also had a very pleasant sauna area which was very clean and well maintained, you just have to give 20 minute notice prior to using the sauna for it to warm up. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and were on hand to give any information on the local area if required.

weekend stay
good to have balcony, tea/coffee facilities and minibar in the room. room was a little small for having a child with travel cot, but fine for a couple. garage at the back of hotel was useful and cheap. breakfast was excellent however the atmosphere seemed very quiet, some of the guests looked horrified that there was a toddler in the same vicinity as them. all the staff however were very friendly. would stay again

Nice Hotel. No Air Conditioning
Very nice hotel. Newly remodeled, very clean. Only downside is that there is no Air Conditioning in the rooms.

Das Personal war aufmerksam, höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Preise für den Verzehr aus der Minibar sind sehr fair, das Frühstück bietet eine riesige Auswahl an Konfitüren, Säften, aber auch Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt. Lediglich die Kelleratmosphäre des Frühstücksalons neben einer Auffahrt ins Parkhaus lässt sich nicht beseitigen. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Hotel, Zimmer, Frühstück, alles Top. chaotische Rezeption. Buchung im System nicht wiedergefunden, Parkplatzreservierung war auch nicht erfolgt. Wir haben dann das Reservezimmer bekommen, das war ok. Gleiches Chaos beim Ausschecken. Sollte Wein bezahlen, den wir nicht hatten, dafür hatten sie die Parkplatzgebühr vergessen. Das kostet Zeit und verdirbt einem die Laune. Solche Fehler können auch noch so höfliche und Serviceorientierte Mitarbeiter, die es hier wirklich gibt, nicht wegmachen

Das Hotel National hat mich auch bei meinem zweiten Aufenthalt nicht enttäuscht. Das Hotel hat alles was man benötigt, ruhige Zimmer, gute Betten, alle Annehmlichkeiten, sehr netter Service und ein Frühstück, das seinesgleichen sucht. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit sensationellem Frühstück
Absolut empfehlenswert. Ein ganz besonders netter Service, sowohl von der Rezeptionistin, der Dame die das Frühstück mit einer unglaublichen Herzlichkeit zubereitet und auch die Zimmerreinigungskraft mit großer Freundlichkeit. Darüber hinaus ist es sehr ruhig, es ist angenehm einen kleinen Balkon am geräumigen Zimmer zu haben und die Betten sind gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet aber hat definitiv 5-Sterne-Charakter. Vielen Dank, wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt!

Stop-over i Düsseldorf beroende på ombokat flyg hem från Sardinien. Inte något slående 3 stjärnigt hotell men OK o stort rum med balkong o minibar sanmt nyare TV. Dessutom nära restauranger i centrala stan och bara 15 min med taxi till flyget.

Jeder Tourist/In oder Geschäftsperson, die nicht im Hotel National, einchecken bzw. übernachten, versäumen etwas, ein sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ein gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Sky-Fussbal, ein Bad mit einer Dusche und Duschstrahl, der die Massage vergessen lässt und ein Frühstücksbuffett, welches alle meine bisherigen positiven Erfahrungen übertrifft. Ein Angebot, wo sich 5 oder die sogenannten Premiumhotels eine grosse Scheibe abschneiden können. Im Angebot sind nicht nur zwei „langweilige“ Marmeladen, wie Erdbeer oder Orangen, nein, es ist ein Angebot von mehr als 10 Marmeladen, wie u.a. Kiwi oder rote Johannisbeer. Das Käs- und Wurst/Schinkenangebot ist gross und neben dem Lachs gibt es auch roten Kaviar! Einen weiteren Stern für das Obstangebot, neben Him- und Brombeeren gab es auch Feigen. In welchem Hotel haben Sie schon mal Feigen gegessen? Ich freue mich wieder auf den nächsten Besuch

Hübsches Hotel an der Nordstraße. Sehr gute Anbindungen. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir je in einem Hotel hatten. Eine Riesen Auswahl!!! Es war einfach alles Super. Die Kleinigkeiten haben es zu einem hervorragenden Hotel gemacht.

Gunstig gelegen hotel.
Helaas geen airco in de kamer, wel een ventilator. Het beste en uitgebreidste ontbijt dat wij tot nu toe hebben gehad in een hotel! Echt super. Erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. De pilaren in de kleine parkeergarage waren extra ommanteld, om het gevaar van beschadigingen te verkleinen.

Freundliche, auskunftsfreudige Mitarbeiter. Nach der Frage, einen bestimmten Ort zu erreichen, erhielt ich umgehend Auskunft über öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, Restaurants etc. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich, wie auf der Homepage beschrieben (auch die Bilder). Was mir am eindrücklichsten in Erinnerung blieb war das großartige Frühstücksbuffet - eine riesige Auswahl diverser Aufstriche, Wurst, Käse, viele verschiedene Säfte, Obst, Brot, Müsli und und und!Wirklich top!!!

Gute Lage, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück
Ich habe noch nie ein solch tolles Frühstücksbuffet in einem 3Sterne-Hotel erlebt! Der Service ist außerdem sehr nett und sehr aufmerksam und die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich gut. Drumherum sind viele nette Restaurants und mit der U78/U79 oder der Straßenbahn ist man schnell in der Innenstadt.

Lentokentän ja kaupungin puolessa välissä
Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, huone tasoltaan vaatimaton(ainoa konellinen ilmanvaihto oli kylpyhuoneen poisto, tuloilma avaamalla ikkuna), kylpyhuone hyväkuntoinen ja siisti. Kesäisin huone on tukalan kuuma, koska ilmastointia ei ole. Ikkuna olessa auki, kadulta tulevaan meteliin herää ei niin herkkäuninenkin yöllä. Huoneessa ei ole tallelokeroa. Parkkihalli oli pieni ja ahdas, parkkiruudun sai vaaramalla sen muovikartiolla, muuten illalla ei olisi ollut vapaata parkkipaikkaa. Aamupala oli loistava, parempi kuin mitä monessa viiden tähden hotellissa.
