Let the photos speaks for itself.
The photos speak volume. The owner has an attitude that doesn’t sit well with hospitality. To illustrate the kind of personality please refer to the “important house” (see photos) on the wall: full of !!!’s. Up to this moment it still sounds like he’s screaming at the reader: “ all damage will be paid for!!!” So let’s see what kinda damage you could make to this property: The room is covered, wall to wall, by dirty, moldy, recycled carpets, to protect its floor (faux-wood). Even the tv remote was “protected “ by a plastic bag. The furniture looks like he picked up right from garage. The shower room has no toiletries whatsoever. See photos. Im not a fussy person and I don’t write reviews but I made a point doing so cuz I don’t want people to have the same experience. It’s shame for the beautiful island, it’s beautiful country and it’s amazingly kind people. If it was not for my last minute reservation and if only I had any choice, I’d not fall for this one. Enjoy your travel time and avoid bad hôtelier.

Basic
This place is very simply with a bed and shower. The photos look much better than in person. The staff is friendly and nice enough to keep our bags before we left for the boat later of the day. This place is great for backpacker who has basic requirement for lodging. Not recommended for family with children. The nightly rate at €100 is way over than what you get.

Great for one night
The apartment is old and a bit dated but the warm welcome from the family makes up for that. You get what you pay for and at this price on Korcula island it’s excellent value for money

Great independent accommodation
This is a basic accommodation in a family owned building, so there are no frills. But the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower a generous size for what you often find in budget accommodation. And the family whonrunnthe establishment were very friendly and helpful. Loved staying here.

Not what I expected
Other reviews said the rooms were small, and the reviews were right right. The bath especially was so tiny there was no room to dry off after a shower. The towels were old and small, and no shower soap or washcloths provided. The bed pillows were hard as rock. In spite of the smallness, I chose this room because the other reviews explained of outstanding customer service from the proprietor. We did not have that experience. Once I asked for ice and he said no ice. I kept asking where can I get ice and he finally gave me a few cubes in a bowl. Later, I asked if he would call a particular restaurant (I had the number and it was local) for a reservation (as recommended in the travel book) and he refused. A tourist information did help with that request.

Great stay
Lovely little guesthouse in a great spot. It is literally less than a minute away from the ferry terminal. There are loads of great restaurants everywhere in Korcula and everything is a short walk away. The room itself is nice enough - nothing spectacular but comfortable enough. Lovely views from our room which had a private, clean bathroom and a fridge and A/C. The bed wasn't overly comfortable. The owners are nice and helpful. It is pretty good for the price and we would definitely stay here again. Korcula is a really beautiful place.

Central Location
This is a wonderful location inside the town walls. We were in the center of the sites, the harbor, and good places to eat. The owner is very friendly. The room was clean. It is not a 5-star hotel, but a great place for the value. Highly recommend it if you plan to visit the island.

This guest house is in a great location, just up the stairs from the ferry port. Adrian was outside to meet me and was very friendly and gave me lots of advice on restaurants and places to visit. He was the perfect host. I would stay here again if I get the chance to go back to Korcula.

Disappointing rooms
The brothers managing the hotel are friendly and helpful. And the location is great, right in the old town. However, the room was cramped and tired, with old furniture and bathroom, a faint smell of mold and air conditioning that we had to turn on and off all night as we couldn't seem to keep it at a moderate level

Great Guest House
The hotel is a family house with several rooms converted to rentals. We rented two rooms. Each room has a private entrance, quite large and has private bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is easy to find and is centrally located. The rooms have strong wi-fi signal and air conditioning. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Great central location and fantastic staff
Located in central Korcula old town it's a great spot to be based for a few days exploring. The room facilities were comfortable and functioned adaquately for our needs although a little tired in places. The family running the guest house were exceptional and couldn't have been more helpful, including when my partner was unwell when they provided medical advice and remedies that worked a treat and ensured we could enjoy the remainder of our holiday.

Brothers Ante and Adrian run this family guest house with their father, and the personal touch shows. We loved this place and the location. Rooms have what you need, and they are clean, although furniture is older. Ultimately, this was a bargain. Favorite part was the pick up from the ferry and caring help from the family.

Waste of time and money
There are only two positive points about Vitaic Guest House; very friendly owners (made a lot of effort when we arrived) and the location which is right in the heart of Korcula's old town. Sadly neither of the above makes this place worth the time and/or money spent. The guest house ia very dated. Decor is terrible - though I admit that's a matter of taste (or the lack of it). The paper-thin walls let in any noise; be it church bells, dogs barking on the street or somebody sneezing in the floor above you. Our room was (literally!) a kitchen with a double bed. The kitchen units were everywhere (even ABOVE the bed). There were 3 sets of doors in this bedroom/kitchen, two of which were blocked with mdf boards. Most of the space was taken up by the massive bed; there was no real room to store suitcases or hang your clothes (3 coathangers on the door don't count). And don't even get me started on the so-called "private" bathroom which not only was on the corridor, but also had a wall that didn't even go all the way to the top. What separates you from the staircase is a curtain ... The last time it was refurbished must had been in the 70s; I would not be surprised if that was also the last time somebody bothered to clean it. A bin in the room would had been nice. Overall the Vitaic guest house was a major disappointment not worth the time or money

Charming place
We only stayed at the guest house one night, but would happily have stayed longer. Right in the centre of old town, cheap as chips and the family who own and run the place could not have been more accommodating, helpful or charming. Highly recommended.

The room was beautiful, very well appointed. There were beautiful antique (and in great shape) wooden wardrobes, a very comfortable bed, a good refrigerator, strong working A/C. Our bathroom was in great shape, had all of the amenities, was extremely clean, had very good hot water and certainly no bad smells.

We were only in Korcula overnight and this hotel was perfect! Great locations and proximity to the port (approx 5min walk). We were met at the port on arrival of the ferry which made finding this for the first time very easy and was great service! They were very helpful in providing local information i.e. bakery, supermarket etc that you need! The rooms are basic and very clean, bathroom (ensuite) was spotless - cant fault it on that aspect. We had air con and wifi which we hadn't found in other similar types of accommodation of this standard. Wouldn't have had any issue with staying here another night to explore Korcula longer (wish we had!).

Wollten die Insel kennengelernen und wussten im Vorfeld, dass wir die Unterkunft lediglich zum Übernachten benötigen, dennoch wäre ein wenig Gemütlichkeit schön gewesen, was hier keineswegs gegeben war.

Hotel en plein coeur de la vielle ville. Le patron est très accueillant mais le lieu mériterait des rénovations dans les chambres et parties communes. Pas de vraie cloison dans notre chambre avec la salle de bain et les toilettes ce qui engendre un manque d'intimité.

The room had what we needed. A bed, private bathroom and enough space. And in the old town in a nice area. But the best part was the owner himself. What a man! He was so helpful and warm and made us feel so welcomed. If you don't need luxury and want a nice and cheap place in the old town you should stay here. And I know you're going to love the owner.

Hintaluokassaan erinomainen vaihtoehto. Sijainti paras mahdollinen, metrin päässä katamaraanilaiturista ja vanhassa kaupungissa. Mikään luksusmaja Vitaic ei ole, mutta kaikki tarpeellinen löytyy. Hyvä kylppäri, sänky ja reilusti kaappitilaa. Wifi toimi kuin unelma. Seinät ovat paperia, mutta niinhän näissä huoneistomajoituksissa lähes aina. Henkilökunta avuliasta ja puhuu kiitettävää englantia.

Te duur!
Vitaic is heel goed gelegen in het historische centrum van Korcula. Parkeren is wel een probleem, maar je wordt schitterend geholpen door de vriendelijke eigenaars. De kamers zijn zeer basic, de foto's bij de reservering misleidend (helemaal geen zeezicht, het terras op de foto's blijkt het terras van een restaurantje in de omgeving,....). Er is geen terras of plaats om buiten te zitten bij de accommodatie. Er is geen ontbijt inbegrepen (wat niet erg duidelijk is bij de reservatie). Kortom : goed gelegen, vriendelijke eigenaars maar VEEL TE DUUR voor deze accommodatie. Nergens betaalden we zoveel in Kroatië voor zo'n basic kamer (90 euro per nacht voor een 2-persoonskamer). Voor gemiddeld 75 euro kregen we meestal wel een kamer met zeezicht, een uitgebreid ontbijt en een moderne kamer. Of is het eiland Kordula zoveel duurder dan de rest van Kroatië?

A very nice guest house with very friendly service. Probably the best location in town. The only thing to comment on was the thin walls in the house. It could get a bit noicy during the nights sometimes. But all in all, a great guest house. We extended our stay two more nights, which was not a problem.
