Good value for money
Nicely located in a residential neighbourhood, the studio apartment had a good balance of easy access to beaches and restaurants while tucked away a bit from the busy spots of Babin Kuk. Check-in was easy over WhatsApp and our stay was without complaints!

The accommodation was basic but clean and was close to bus stops and local beaches. The Old Town was about 1 hour away on foot but a regular bus service was available a short walking distance away. The people who owned the apartment were very attentive and competent. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city but be careful as prices for food and drink are extremely expensive in the Old Town which is very crowded , mainly because of the many cruise ships packed with wealthy Chinese and European visitors.

They should be ashamed.
They were more concerned about sending me their two pages of gestapo type do’s and don’ts than the information on how to self check in. Terrible experience. Uncomfortable, dirty and inconvenient location.

Relatively close to "beach"..96 steps down/up and a bit of walking. Rent chairs and parasol. Most, if not all beaches in Croatia are gravel. Water gorgeous, easily accessible and wonderfully swimmable! Apartment has large room w/closet, a desk w/TV w(did not work) side-by=side twin beds which were comfortable w/clean linens. 2 Side stand w/non=workable lamp. Kitchen was ok space, very minimal as well. Kitchen table, 3 chairs, coffeepot, water boiler which we used for coffee and tea. Small frig, sink and cabinets w.some cups etc. as well as a knife/fork drawer. Bathroom, tiny. Small shower (w/water heater) and sink. NO PLACE ANYWHERE TO PUT ANYTHING! DO request breakfast. It'll be on your outdoor mini table (2 chairs) easily in the morning. That was pleasant and relatively OK. It was quite a bit and we had quite an overage at the end of our 4 night stay. Kusalo Apts. are NOT well located if you don't have your own car. We found bus up the hill, around the corner and had to find out everything ourselves. Signing in was not pleasant and we needed to pay for a ride to the apartments. There was NO information given about anything! All of our "neighbors (there are 4 apartments) are from the UK or somewhere in Europe so they all bring their own "stuff" in their cars! I would NOT recommend this stay.

Great location and Breakfast!
The most difficult part of this holiday was to find the Dominium Office to pick up the keys. Transfer from Dubrovnik to the bus station was simple with a dedicated bus service but we resorted to a taxi for the next part of the journey. However once there the staff were great giving us a bottle of wine and a ride to the apartment where all was explained. Kusalo Apartments consists of a block of 5 Apartments which are spacious, clean and contain all that is necessary for a self catering holiday.The apartments on the 1st floor have views over the water rather than the basement apartment which has a small courtyard with no views at all. The location is great, -just 100 concrete steps from the coastal Babin Kuk peninsula trail which leads to several local beaches, -all stony so beach shoes for swimming is a must. The concrete steps might be challenging on the way home. Linen and towels were changed after 3 days and Tanya, who lives in the top Apartment was absolutely wonderful solving any of our minor problems over the week. Thank you Tanya. Walking the walls of the Old Town was a unique experience and a must do, as is a boat trip to see some of the small islands.

Nice location
My apartment was in a nice location in Baban Kuk area. It looked out of Gruz harbour where you could view the coming and going of the daily Cruise Ships. 5 mins walk took me down to the waterside where I could turn left to go into town or left to take a pleasant walk around the peninsula. I loved the apartment, not 5 star but very adequate. Needless to say I really enjoyed my visit to Dubrovnik. One word of warning, the area is of hill terrain so be prepared to climb lots of steps.

Old place with washing machine. Every morning they deliver a breakfast that will nourish you also for lunch. Very appreciate With bus no 6 you will get to the Old city for 14kn. Kitchen with hot water and big fridge. Clean bathroom. Parking on the premises.

Nice little apartment in quiet part of town. Information and service from owners was excellent. Only downside is that nearest bars and restaurants all involve a minimum 15 minute hilly walk.

Nice hotel near bus station in a calm neighborhood
Near the bus station and near a beach. 10min walk to a nice street full of restaurant, out of center of Dubronik. Really nice welcoming !

Excellent hostess!
Maja was amazing from the beginning. We arrived early and she checked us in, although she wasn’t finished cleaning she set a time of when she’ll finish and we came back at that time with the key and everything was very clean and beautiful. Excellent views and beautiful apartment. Appliances like coffee maker weren’t very clean but that’s very minute compared to how excellent everything else was. We definitely recommend and will seek this apartment again on our next visit.

Finding place to pick up keys was difficult based on instructions given by Dominion Travel. B &B was not cent e ally located but is close to transport links so after first day should have no problems getting around. One of the best breakfast goodies are delivered daily to consume.

Stayed for 2 weeks and would definitely recommend!
Stayed for 2 weeks in Dubrovnik. Land lady was very friendly, always making sure we had new sheets and asking if we needed anything. Very spacious with separate area for kitchen/dining and beds Air conditioning worked perfectly and shower did as well.The view from the balcony was stunning. The apartment was right at the coast line, and lapad beach is 5 mins way. There's a superstore literally down the street if you want to cook for yourself and there's a market area nearby with tons of restaurants and places to shop. You can catch a bus to old town (15 min ride). Had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend!

Lovely apartment in quiet location.
Spent ten days here and had a wonderful time. The landlady, Tanja, is so welcoming and friendly. Location is in Babin Kuk, just a one minute walk down some steps to the harbourside where you'll see different cruise liners each day across the bay docked at Gruz. If you have a car, there is guaranteed private parking at the apartment and you will definitely need it as the roads are narrow and parking would be nigh on impossible. The apartment is quite well equipped with TV and DVD player (very little watchable on TV if you only speak English!), a good sized fridge-freezer, all necessary eating utensils, a kettle and a small hob (we never used it as eating out in the area is very good value and plentiful. The two single beds were reasonably comfortable, bed linen and towels changed regularly and there is a good washing machine which you can use free of charge (even soap powder supplied!) and a large drying area. The apartment is about five minutes walk from the nearest bus route and buses are cheap and regular. Overall we were very very happy with our choice. The price was very reasonable and it really was like a home from home.

Very nice and quiet close to the beach
We had a lovely stay at Kusalo Apartments. The landlady has been a very nice host e.g.: booked a cab for us and explained how to use the laundry. The room was cosy, with the essentials for cooking and self care. Moreover, there was the air contidioning system, wich was a bliss! The place is close to a lovely beach and the bus stop is also as close. So much good stuff for a small price. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Excellent position close to beaches but quite a distance from the Old Town Buses every 10 mins to Old Town allegedly but we waited 30 mins one evening and were packed in like sardines.

Quite area of busy Dubrovnik
The apartment is in a quite neighborhood, a short walk from an active pedestrian street of cafes and the bus to the old walled city. The apartment lacks a window, and the television has just a few English stations (important during the US Open, but not critical if you don't care). Fine place if you are on the go, but expensive for what you get otherwise.

Tenia grandes dudas sobre todo por su situación y la verdad que acerté de pleno. Creo que en el centro me hubiera agobiado. El apartamento está en una zona privilegiada y súper tranquila y con fácil acceso a todo. He estado encantada. El apartamento es sencillo y limpio y con unas vistas preciosas. Tiene un paseo debajo precioso y acceso a dos platas. No nos recibió nadie . Es lo único que eché de menos pero me informe de todo por comentarios en internet

En bra lägenhet med helt okej kök. Rent och fräsch. Stor kyl. Hade allt man behövde för att överleva. Stor säng, lite hård och platta kuddar. Litet badrum. Nära till mataffären som hade allt man behövde. En kort promenad till busshållplatsen som körde mot gamla staden. Bussen gick var 10e minut och tog ungefär 15-20 min till Pile Gate. Gångavstånd till dom 2 stora stränderna (copabana beach och sunset beach). Lite jobbiga trappor på vägen hem från copabana beach (95 trappsteg) men det gjorde inte så mycket. Många mysiga restauranger/barer vid sunset beach men inte så mycket shopping. Vi åkte taxi till flera stränder runt omkring (tips!). Bra utbud på utflykter på olika öar runt omkring. Allt som allt var det en bra lägenhet och nära till det mesta! Åker gärna tillbaka!

Foi uma estadia muito positiva, chegamos a noite e o proprietário respondia sempre pelo whats, o lugar é otimo, muito familiar, o quarto é grande e espaçoso... faltam alguns utensilios de cozinha, fiquei por dois dias e nao houve limpeza mas tive que pagar por ela acredito que para o proximo ocupante, o que deveria estar incluso no preço... ah, tem muito pernilongo e nao tem veneno

Très bel appartement avec vue sur mer
Beau studio à 10 mns à pieds d'une petite plage et du bord de mer et 10 minutes en bus de la vieille ville. Le personnel qui s'est occupé de notre séjour à été adorable et ils ont su répondre à toutes nos questions et nous donner des informations sur la ville. Intérieur propre et fonctionnel et terrasse très agréable surtout pour la vue!

Nice appartment close to the beach
We had to travel to the organisations office (close to centre of Dubrovnic) to pick up the keys. We left our Luggage there, because the appartment cannot be entered until 12.00 and a driver brought us to the appartment for free at any time we want. It would be good to know this when you're booking it, but it is not inconveniënt because it was organised very well.

Sisäänkirjautuminen oli toimistolla, josta järjestettiin kuljetus asunnolle. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Huone oli hyväkuntoinen ja siisti. Valitettavasti saamastamme huoneesta näki vain sisäpihalle, mutta lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä oli pieniä satamia ja uimarantoja. Lähistöltä löytyi myös kauppa ja bussipysäkki. Aamuisin oven taakse jätetty take away -aamiainen oli mukava yllätys.

Ett rum med enkel / bra standard.
Ett rum, enkel standard med bra funknalitet. Möjlighet till att, med enkla medel, tillaga lite mat, stort kylskåp. Litet badrum men väl fungerande i sitt syfte. Renligheten i badrummet var ok, kan alltid bli bättre. Närheten till det lilla supermarket som hade det mesta var bra! Om man bor på Kusalo apartment så ska gilla promenera. Busshållplats finns i närheten men du behöver promenera på lite backiga gator. Jag rekommenderar Kusalo apartment, på grund av bra pris, och bilder jag såg före, motsvarade vad som var i verkligheten.

Ihan kiva hotelli mukavalla alueella. Tosin kuvaus ko. majapaikasta poikkesi aika paljon todellisuudesta. Olimme varanneet parvekkeellisen huoneen merinäköalalla, mutta saimme yhteisterassin kahden muun huoneen kanssa... Talon ainoa parveke huoneemme yläpuolella, josta oli oikein kuva esittelysivuilla kuului hotellin omistajan asuntoon. Joka tapauksessa, tämän asian sisäistettyämme olimme kohtuullisen tyytyväisiä majoitukseemme. Oli kutakuinkin sitä mitä olimme odottaneet, tuota parvekejuttua lukuun ottamatta. Keittiövälineitä oli riittävästi ja erittäin tarpeellinen ilmalämpöpumppu toimi hyvin. Ei valittamista.

Quiet and cozy place to stay.
The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. It was managed by nice lady who was very welcoming and always ready to help and answer all our questions. The hotel had small market (Pemo market) nearby, where you could find all the basic groceries. The hotel had all the equipment at least we needed (pans, water boiler etc). We could easily get to old town from the hotel from bus stop which was only walking distance away. Bed in the room was bit uncomfortable. Pillows were quite hard and large for my tastes. Bed was also a bit too hard. Although neither of these things prevented us from sleeping well! If you want quiet and cozy place to stay with walking distance to grocery store, beach and access to bus stop, I would definitely recommend this place!

Et veldig greit boalternativ.
For et besøk i Dubrovnik området, så er Kusalo et greit boalternativ. Det er lokalisert i et stille område, og ganske nært til badesteder. Det er 10 minutter å gå til bussholdeplass, med god forbindelse til Dubrovnik Old Town. Dagligvarebutikk 4-5 minutter's spasertur unna.

We had a nice 10 days stay in Dubrovnik in August 1015. The weather was really nice with lots of sun.The prices are higher than expected. Sunbed from 30-50 (4,50-6,50€) plus 30 kuna for umbrella. Beaches have stones, no shower, no toilet an no wifi, what you would expect when you pay that price. Restaurant prices are reasonable. Dubrovnik is a small city with many hills and stairs. The old city is fantastic and free from vehicles. Kroatia is a beautiful country.

Perussiisti hotelli, ei mitään ihmeellisyyksiä. Huoneessa ei valittamista: sängyt ok, kylpyhuone hoiti hommansa (joskin vähän pieni), lisäksi tarjolla keittölevy ja kuumina kesäpäivinä erittäin hyödylliset jääkaappi-pakastin sekä ilmalämpöpumppu. Yleisissä tiloissa mahdollisuus pestä pyykkiä ilmaiseksi. Wifi signaali heikko mutta toimiva. Omistajapariskunta hyvin ystävällisiä. Noin 10 minuutin kävely bussipysäkille sekä lähimmälle rannalle, 5 minuuttia kauppaan. Takapihalla aidattu tilava parkkipaikka.

excellent studio
studio très bien équipé pour éviter de manger au restaurant, lit confortable. Le personnel très accueillant et de très bon conseil. a 5min de l'arrêt de bus pour la vieille ville de dubrovnik. On descend les escaliers et on est au bord de la mer. très belle vue sur la mer. la mer coppacabana est a 10min. Je conseille fortement cette établissement.
