I chose Westin Book for our stay in downtown Detroit when we wanted to be in walking distance to the Tiger game and local restaurants/bars. It exceeded my expectations. It is in a very nice location and was a very nice hotel. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous.
Loved this place. Stayed here for our anniversary and the experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The only complaint I have is that the fridge in the room took forever to get cold.
The location was great, we walked to the Tigers game. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel was quiet.
And we loved the 12 noon checkout. Would most definitely stay here again.
Every staff that we encountered/interacted with was so super friendly, ready to go the extra mile and just really, really pleasant. We received two double beds and had wanted a king (reserved online through second party so wasn't guaranteed). When I called the front desk after going to the room, they said no problem and immediately set us up in another room. The front desk clerks laughed and joked with us, gave helpful information for getting around town and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again.
