"Loved the unique style of the entire hotel! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean."

"Location was near 16th Street Mall, but also surrounded by a lot of homeless encampments. We chose the location based on its proximity to Coors Field, but the walk back after dark was sketchy. When we checked in we noticed the toilet was plugged up. Maintenance took care of it, but just an indication of the dated property. The room was really dark. Fortunately we spent the rest of the trip in the surrounding towns closer to the mountains and parks."

Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown-Convention Center

"We booked 3 nights in the Homewood and when we checked in on the first night, we were required to stay at the Hampton instead, as no rooms were available. We then had to “check out” the next day and check back into the Homewood, where our original reservation was. It was a horrible experience. Ruined a portion of our day as we were waiting to sort this out. Staff pushed us to just stay at the Hampton the whole time (not acceptable as that hotel did not have the amenities and room that we specifically chose with our Homewood reservation) OR tried to encourage us to just leave our belongings with bellhop for the day and check in to our “new” room later. This was also not an acceptable option as we knew we wouldn’t get back to the hotel until likely after 11pm at night. There was no way we were leaving for the day, without knowing for sure we’d have a room to come back to. Very disappointing experience."

"Clean room and great location, a 5-6 min walk to the convention center. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but the Little Owl coffee shop at the ground floor makes excellent coffee! I got the smallest room kind which was nice but very, small---think APA Hotel Tokyo. The room also has that design where the sink is out in the open instead of the bathroom, which I'm not a fan of. Another con is that the mini-fridge is very small and since it's already filled with the minibar items, it's hard to store my own items like drinks/snacks I bought myself. Otherwise the gym is pretty decent and the hotel looks very cool and futuristic!"

"Built in 1892, the Brown Palace has seen better days. The bathroom sink had cracks that encompassed the bowl. The ceiling had several patches of paint ready to fall, in addition to stains. One curtain rod was partially snapped off. There were few amenities i.e. shower cap. Staff processed my bill incorrectly. This is a Marriott BonVoy property."

"Everything about the stay was excellent except for the Wi-Fi and immediately being added to email marketing lists upon trying to get online from my room. Apparently, there was no Wi-Fi in my room unless I joined a rewards program – at least that's what it seemed like. I didn't want to do that, but I think it happened anyway. It was confusing, and I'm relatively tech savvy. There were several people working down in the lobby bar late at night during my two-night stay, because that's where the Wi-Fi was. As of 2026, I think free Internet should be a given."
