Perfection
I don't think you will find a Stayz better than this one. A beautiful view from everywhere in the house. Nicola has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as she could. I wish i could just go and stay and relax for a month or two. Thank you Nicola for sharing your wonderful house. Just perfect.

I don't often write reviews but this property deserves one. Quarry Hill Lookout is modern, has stunning water views and is spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our girls weekend, the host Nicole has thought of everything from the complimentary breakfast items, plunger coffee and tea, bottle of champagne on arrival, biscuits, chocolate/shower cap placed on our beds, to the hotel quality towels and beach towels. It's all these touches that made our stay so special. The home caters for families with board games, Netflix, books in the library, gates on the stairs and there's a garden with fruit and veggies we could pick and eat from! BBQ facilities are available and there is a RSL with great food and a cafe a couple of minutes walk away. We made use of the woodfire as nights got a bit chilly it was so toasty and warm. This place really felt like a home away from home, cannot recommend it enough we loved it!!

A Very Impressive Property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quarry Point Lookout and would have loved to stay longer. It is quite possibly the best organised holiday house we have ever stayed in. Nicola has thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable and uncomplicated. The house is beautiful and the view ever-changing depending on the time of day and the weather. Just a five minute walk to shops, cafes and club.

Can I give a ten star rating?
The house is gorgeous with so many different places to sit and enjoy the view! The view from the main bedroom bed is like a picture painting! I also loved having a little greenhouse and being able to water the plants( only if you want to). Nicola was impressive with her responses. I really want to live there full time!

Incredible house, saw this listing online and loved it. When we arrived it did not disappoint. The views from every room are amazing. Nicolas attention to detail and her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The hasting caves just down the road are also a must, one of the best we have seen.

The best stay of our trip!
Nicola’s property was exactly as described and the perfect mix of luxurious but cozy and homely at the same time. Everything you could imagine was available in the home and well stocked for all our needs. The big space and amazing fireplace was perfect for our group. We were very sad to leave the comfort of this home. Everything was thought through and for the guest’s delight including the detailed guide book, enough towels for you to enjoy the beach multiple times and a full pantry. Communication with Nicola was easy and always super prompt: Flawless!

Quarry Hill Lookout is a spectacular house with an equally spectacular view. Everything one could wish for in a holiday house is there exactly as described on Stayz. Nicloa was a great host both with answering queries before booking and offering assistance after checkin (which was not required). The first few days were cool but the house was warm thanks to the wood fire and aircon. The best woodfired pizzas were a 2 minute walk away but sadly only open Thurs to Sat. Overall a very relaxing week.

This home is beautifully furnished, a great fireplace, a very comfortable bed, a library where everyone will find many books of interest, amazing examples of various artists work, and it exudes very restful vibe. This is in the top 2 best properties we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back!

Quarry Hill Lookout is luxurious accommodation with everything there you could possibly need. Fantastic views of the bay and home grown produce from the properties garden. This was a beautifully appointed property with stunning views. Waking up to the sunrise from bed was an amazing start to the day. Nicola has thought of everything with so many inclusions within the property. We were two families staying, and there was plenty of room with everyone able to relax in their own space. What a great location
We had booked Quarry Hills Lookout as the end of our Tasmania round trip for four nights. What a great ending! The house is lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped. There is nothing that is missing. The various seating areas in and around the house always allow for new beautiful views. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and were very reluctant to leave Quarry Hills Lookout. Absolutely recommended for a few relaxing days!!!!

Third time’s a charm
This was our third time staying at this gorgeous home. I say home not house, because it is a home! Everything is there, even beach towels and chairs etc to fishing gear. The home has spectacular views and is perfectly positioned to explore the far South of Tasmania. We are always sad to leave, and are planning our return!

FAMILY FRIENDLY, GREAT LOCATION
It had so many little treasures that made your stay just that little bit more special. A library to suit all tastes and ages (including kids, no need to pack books for night time reading)! A fruit and herb garden you can tender to and harvest when you stay. Games, colouring pencils, xbox, upstairs space perfect for kids while the adults enjoyed a fire downstairs. Amazing pirate ship playground and beautiful beach (with beach toys included at the house) you can walk to. Pizza shop that you MUST try on your stay walking distance, and groceries and bottle-o also waling distance away. Bruny island, Hobart and Hastings Caves all with 1.5 hours. I would recommend to families (easy share for 2 young families) of all ages or a group of adults to share also.

We loved our stay at Quarry Hill Lookout. On entry the house had a beautiful fresh smell, views amazing, and welcoming music playing. House set up for numerous outdoor social areas to enjoy the sun or shade and spacious areas to socialise and relax inside. Pets were catered for as well with a secure backyard and a pet tub filled with necessities including water bowl , towel, doggie disposable bags etc. We had a meal at the RSL which we enjoyed. We plan to book again and will stay for longer next time.

The check in process was painless with information provided well in advance. The warm house on arrival was welcoming & much appreciated. The house had so many spots for our group of 6 to have some quiet time by ourselves if we wanted to but the larger common areas were also more than adequate for us to share some good times together. All the comforts of home were provided. It was just a pity we didn't have more days to spend there. Thank you Nicola for being a wonderful host!

Perfect dog friendly luxury retreat
We recently spent a week at the fantastic Quarry Hill Lookout. This is by far the best equipped holiday house we have ever stayed in. The backyard is perfect for dogs and a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back!

Absolute comfort with views from every window
We had a wonderful 2 week family holiday to celebrate Christmas. The house was pristinely clean with sparkling windows showcasing the beautiful water views. There are two living areas providing everyone plenty of room to relax. A cosy fire was burning as we arrived. The garden is full of fruit trees and there is a greenhouse with fresh herbs which we used daily. There are 3 balconies/ terraces all with different aspects. Nicole is a perfect host and has thought of everything. Dover is a wonderful base to explore the Hartz mountain national park, Bruny island and Cockle creek. There are very few places to eat in Dover but the kitchen here allows you to cook up a feast of your own.

Mum's retreat
A couple of school mum's and I recently stayed for the weekend at Quarry Hill. We were so impressed. Everything we needed was there. The fire was lit on our arrival and everything was beautiful and cosy and warm! The main bedroom upstairs is to die for with its own private deck and views overlooking the bay. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, together with separate lounge areas upstairs and downstairs was great for travelling with friends, and would be great for those with older kids. The beds were also extremely comfortable. The only down side was that there was no secure yard for animals or children. I had been planning on returning with my husband and two children aged 2 and 4 but wouldn't feel confident in their security with the proximity of the property to the main road. Overall a really fabulous stay and ideal for couples travelling in groups.

Very modern, well designed house! great for an extended family.
Fabulous views over the water. Situated in a small town just off a relatively busy road so not entirely remote. Extremely well set up and catered for. Great meals (crayfish) at the local RSL which is just a stones throw away. Wonderful facilities for self catering including baking a whole fresh Salmon purchased at the Huon fisheries just 10 minutes down the road.

You won’t be disappointed
This has been one of our top three stays. Enjoying the local wine and mesmerising water view. Adults and children have been catered for with every thought in mind. Finn (Cavoodle) was welcomed with enclosed yard and happy to explore. Wish our stay had been longer.
