We had a perfect stay at the manor house ,the staff couldnt do enough to help.we will be coming back.our little dog ozzy was allso made welcome.

The staff were very friendly, especially Lucas and Millie. Lucas works long hours and nothing was too much trouble for him - he always went the extra mile to satisfy us. The food was excellent, both from the dinner and breakfast menus. The location and surroundings were superb. Just one thing I think could be improved. There is no front desk overnight and they provide a mobile number in case of an emergency. The trouble is that there is no landline and the mobile signal was non-existent most of the time. I don't know whether staff sleep on the site, if so some internal communication system should be installed in case of emergencies.

Our stay at the Manor House was just the perfect antidote to our normally frenetic lifestyle. Many Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. ( Lucas in the cellar Bar & Millie in the morning 💕xx ) The convenience of being able to enjoy a beautifully prepared meal at the end of the day and only having to walk upstairs to your bed afterwards was a very welcome treat. We will definitely be returning when we get the chance.

Loved our stay. Tried to book another night but they were full. Room was excellent with many extras. Bed and bedding so cosy didn’t want to get up. Evening meal had many choices and breakfast was superb. Looking forward to returning before too long

We stayed for one night and fell in love with the hotel. The staff were all fantastic and worked very hard to put all their guests at ease. We had dinner in the restaurant as well as breakfast and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Welcoming, really loved that there was a fridge in hallway for fresh milk and bottle water. Did find dead flies or moths on the roll up blind and a tooth retainer on the floor. But had a lovely time, very cute and relaxing .

Very enjoyable stay
Lovely stay. The room was clean but a little tired, nice sea view and you could hear the sea with the window open. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food at the hotel was excellent, we ate there for three nights!. Breakfast is very good too. Very convenient for walks and Chesil Beach. You could stay there and not use your car.

Lovely bedroom with large sash window and sea view. Large bed with very soft mattress. Great shower with loads of hot water. Bottles of mineral water by bed was a nice touch Short walk to Chesil Beach One suggestion for room would be to replace the instant coffee sachets with a cafeteria and maybe some flavoured teas.

Drainage problem.
When you drained the sink the water came up the waste in the shower. The waste water also had several dead flies in the water. Other than that our stay was good. Lucas was very friendly and an asset to the hotel.

Beautiful stay
Will absolutely stay here again. Such a stunning building with beautiful views and Devine food. Tucked away along back coastal roads, it was the perfect place for a romantic weekend celebrating a birthday. The restaurant food was beyond expectations. Everything fresh and cooked on site, no complaints - not for the price either. Room was wonderfully clean with facilities. The only pitiful was the heating got a bit too hot and we struggled to turn it down but otherwise very cosy and comfortable. Tiniest downfall to the trip was the noise. With the buildings age, walls were very thin and could hear the conversations and movements (creaky floorboards & bathroom fans) in adjacent rooms. Otherwise, completely stunning & we plan to return next year. Thank you! 😊

Beautiful, quiet location set in spacious grounds. The hotel is well presented & the staff very helpful. Access to rooms on the upper floors is via length staircases. Our room 23 was on the top floor, with a small window looking out to the sea. The room was spacious, clean with a large bed but let down with broken window locks & a shower that required re-grouting. The cellar bar is a nice touch with draught lagers & ales & a good selection of wines & spirits. Meals & snacks are also available here. I would definitely stay again but would hope to see improvement in room presentation.
