Last-minute decision to stay and boy oh boy were we pleasantly surprised! A lovely restaurant, dinner, breakfast, lodging, and the facilities were imaginative and SO hospitable! Bravo!

Perfect weekend retreat
Made to feel very welcome, ideal setting for a weekend retreat, peaceful, good food and drink and room off the courtyard. We had an easy access room, would be ideal for wheelchair users. Clean, welcome dogs, milk and eater for us in the fridge

The Brewers Arms is in a quiet little village. The pub was very festive on the outside with flags still from the Jubilee celebrations. We had a lovely large comfortable clean room off the pub gardens. The bathroom was huge and handicap accessible if you needed that. We had a good selection of tea and coffee with a kettle in our room and a mini fridge with milk and water in it. We texted our breakfast selections to the owners the night before and breakfast was delivered to our room at the time we requested. We had plenty of food, juice and tea. There were lots of options to choose from. We were happy to see a big free car park! They also had a charging station for electric cars. Initially we had a mix up as the pub was closed on Monday but lodging was still available. We couldn't get any answer at the front door. We had booked online months prior and were worried we would be sleeping in our car!!! As we did not have wifi we did not get messages from the owners giving us the location etc of our room and access to key lock box. Nobodys fault - just a hiccup. We got it all sorted out. The owners were super friendly and apologetic. As the pub was closed we did not get to eat there but headed to Dorchester which had lots of options. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was charming and convenient. The room was very spacious and beautiful decorated with lots of amenities. They offered a full English Breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay again.

Our room, in a separate building from the pub itself, was large and comfortable and included a small fridge.The staff were very friendly and accommodating and our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. The village is easy to walk around and the scenery is spectacular. We enjoyed our stay very much..

The food was very good and the rooms were a separate building from the pub which were warm, spacious and everything you needed. The only thing that was disappointing was that I got there when the pub was closed, I had to walk up in complete darkness with my bags and there was no one to let me in at the pub, I had to wait (not too long) for the staff to arrive and open up. They really should have informed me that I wouldn't be able to check in until after 6pm. This isn't acceptable to leave customers waiting outside in the dark and unable to get in

Stayed for three nights, the room was large, comfortable and spotless with the added bonus of a fridge. The staff were excellent - friendly and welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for local places to visit. Both the in room breakfasts and the evening meals were excellent with a separate vegan menu. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic stay at the Brewers Arms. The room was huge and bed very comfortable with a lovely sofa to relax on. We watched the football on ITV but dodgy signal! But no issue. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to our door to eat at our in room table. Had 2 superb meals in the pub and Ben and Leanne could not do any more to make our stay a memorable one. The IPA pint was exceptional and highly recommended. Many Thanks for 2 lovely nights in beautiful Dorset. The Brewers Arms is an ideal location to see this amazing area of the Uk. Many Many Thanks

We keep coming basic so that tells the story. Leanne and Ben are great hosts, helping us arrange golf this time was an example of their helpfulness. Food as great as ever and room larger than normal and nice & clean. I even managed to charge my car up whilst there! Thanks and see you next year.

Perfect village local ideally located.
Lovely clean rooms, great welcome and breakfast, nothing too much trouble. we were visiting friends nearby who already had a houseful but we all dined at the brewers, not the cheapest but well worth it. Would make an excellent base for someone exploring the lovely Dorset countryside making a wonderful "home" to come back to.

We loved this pub/inn. Rooms were VERY spacious, clean, and had a refrigerator in addition to all the normal things. They were on the first floor so very convenient for getting luggage in. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed talking with the owner who gave us great advice re our driving route! Highly recommend!

Ben the owner very pleasant and welcoming plus he cooks an excellent full English breakfast (best we have had in many a long time. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, the menu read well, and it was full, therefore they are obviously doing things right. Situated in a charming Dorset village.
