My husband and I checked in on October 17th around 8pm. I had reserved a standard deluxe room. Steve at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We were staying for a night prior to the Detroit Marathon, which they provided a shuttle for. Steve even upgraded our room to a beautiful suite! We had access to the butlers pantry in the morning which included coffee, bagels, pastries, cereal, milk....it was lovely.
The room was spotless and well appointed. When we were in our room we never heard a thing! Sound-proofing was top-notch.
I highly recommend Motor City Hotel and Casino, and I can't wait to go back!

This was a really nice hotel. The rooms were the biggest I've seen in a long time. I had 2 Queen Beds and you actually could have put another bed in the room. I also appreciated the fact that there was a sick outside of the bathroom, so when you have 2+ folks in the same room, you don't have to wait for the other person to finish using the bathroom if you just want to something that does not require the main bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. It's a huge hotel, so if you don't care for walking, you might want to request a room closet to the elevator.
This is a gorgeous location, right on the waterfront. I enjoyed a fine dinner at Volt, right in the hotel lobby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The only drawback for me was having to pay for wifi. I would love to return with enough time to go on the River Walk right by the hotel, and with my passport for a jaunt to Canada, right across the river.
