"Clearly bought over from another chain, this IBIS is a bit different to most I’ve stayed in (eg in London). But we had a warm welcome despite a very late checkin, the room was clean & well presented, everything worked and the beds were comfy. Tasty breakfast too. Minor issue with incorrect room charge was sorted easily and with a smile. Thanks to the small team here 👍"

"Another amazing stay at The Spa Hotel, Ribby Hall. This was our third and probably best visit of all. The spa wasn’t overly busy, and the rain stayed away long enough to really enjoy the outdoor jacuzzis and enjoy a nice cold beer. We stayed on the Aqua Thermal Journey overnight stay with dinner allowance. The food was delicious as you’d expect from a high standard hotel. Breakfast was extremely busy as many people wanted to use their final hour back in the spa the following morning before...

"Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!"

"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this...

"We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around."

"Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. "

"It was a nice hotel. No complaints. Reception could have been a touch friendlier when first arrived, but it was fine. I emailed the hotel pre arrival to ask about an early room. Was all very accommodating. Room was big (a suite type room) so I think we got a bigger than paid for standard room. Grounds and hotel all fine. Would use again. "

"Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Nice location, close to the old town and few minutes walk from the train station. Complementary, delicious cookies in the room. Charming hotel and bedrooms, one issue is that water was dropping in the bedroom from the ceiling, from time to time. I notified the reception so I hope they fixed the issue. "
