"Nice hotel, great staff, good service, great location and delicious food! We really loved it all. But…renovations/repairs are urgently needed. Large damp spots in the room due to problems in the bathroom. The toilet leaks water every time you flush. Same when using the sink. The sockets also need to be reviewed. There could be a few more and maybe a USB port too."

"The hotel reception and bar staff are excellent. However the restaurant is appalling. The quality of the food is poor. There is very little vegetarian options, except for boiled veg. If you arrive at breakfast past 7:30am, there is hardly any food left and the staff do not replenish the plates. Even the coffee pot is not refilled! The staff try their best and are very helpful, but unfortunately it is not worth the money. There are better and cheaper places to stay in Maputo"

"Pretty convenient place to stay in Pemba for a business trip. I have staid there many times. Still efforts needed to recover the bright of 10 years ago. This time the main issue has been that the bed was not clean."

"We had a fantastic stay at Azura. We were warmly greeted straight from the get go by staff who were all smiling and gave clear instructions on what to expect for the week. The villa was exactly as described - clean, indoor/outdoor showers, plunge pool, and multiple sitting areas. " Ridiculously overpriced for what I got. I was on a rate that included dinner and breakfast. When I checked out, additionally got charged for half of dinner again. I recommend no one use this rate. For the price, you expect a nice hotel. This place does not deliver on that expectation. "
