"Do make sure you confirm your reservation with the hotel. I had to send to send a friend to the hotel to physically confirm my reservation before I arrived in Mauritania. Do expect check in to take anywhere from two to five hours. We waited an hour and a half for checkin because electricity was down. We found many families who have been waiting for hours for check in. "This is a nice hotel and the best option if you want access to a pool in SL. The pool was closed when we were there…I would have stayed at Siki (where I have been many times in the past) if I had known. All of the staff were kind of lovely. "People are very kind and really try to give there best, but it sometime fall short. For examples, at the restaurant, the dishes are not that cleaned, or even though the people have good intentions, you do wait a lot for things to happen. The other thing was the towels; i know they were cleaned, but you can see that deep, they still have stains. It just leave you with a 'ah' feeling!"
