"My partner and i stayed here for bank holiday weekend. Where i did a surprise proposal to her, the staff were a great help in setting this up for me and recording it. Every member of staff were so friendly and helpfull. We also ate breakfast twice and dinner here once. Food was great all very tasty and reasonably priced."

"The room we were first allocated was unfortunately next to a number of outside air con units. These were quite noisy and would have kept us awake. However, when I pointed this out to the reception team, we were quickly moved to a quiet room. I was impressed with the quiet, efficient way the staff handled this to ensure our stay was perfect. "Beautiful hotel and grounds however we did feel some areas looked a bit tired. We stayed in a cottage in the grounds and room needed a repair and paint Spa was tired too and the time restrictions of 7-10 am, 5-9 pm were not ideal as you needed to fit in breakfast and dinner too.
