"Absolutely loved our stay here and cannot more highly recommend. No reception with a check-in only on your phone and no room keys was delightful and easy. Super easy check-out too just on your phone. Beautiful little French breakfast offered and a stunning terrace with views of the city and theatre. Perfect central location with paid parking just across the street. The room was enormous, clean, and comfortable. Will absolutely be back - love this gem of a hotel!"

The property is really lovely, it has so much character and is set in spacious grounds so ample room for the children to entertain themselves. "We enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage! We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!"

"Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."

"The flat is in a fantastic, convenient location in Tours, close to the tram and easily walkabke to most points of interest. The host did give us access to the apartment more than an hour before scheduled check in time, but wasn't available when we called to be buzzed in. We were able to get in when another tenant opened the door to leave. The apartment was cleaned when we got there, but lacked some things we expected, like trash bags (every trash can was empty). Spacious rooms close to the Tours railway station.
"We enjoyed the spaciousness of our suite - very unusual in Europe. We got a lot of space for our money. There were a few details that needed attending to, such as not quite enough light when the drapes were drawn, and old chairs that were uncomfortable (but there were a couple that were comfortable), but it was possible to block out early morning light, and this is an important feature when you want to sleep in. The bed was huge and comfortable. My husband used the sofa bed in the sitting room, and it did not quite work, but it was comfortable when he put the mattress on the floor! Do not be put off by whatever construction is slowly happening in the foyer, and the resulting peculiar approach to the lift. This looks as if it is temporary. While the Grand may not have on overall luxurious atmosphere as it likely had in its early years, it WAS very good value. We used the train a lot to go up and down the Loire Valley, and the location was excellent for that. The area around the station felt safe, so no need to be put off by the proximity to the station."
