"Great place to stay"

"We stayed in a house-keeping unit (with kitchen, balcony, etc.). There was a lovely heated pool with a great view. The location was very convenient for excursions into the mountains (GREAT hiking a short drive away!!). We made our own meals, but the for-fee breakfast seemed pretty good (from what we saw). The laundry facilities were 2 washers (no dryers??), shared with the hotel cleaning staff. We decided against using them. We had to ask for dish detergent, dish cloth, and dry cloth,...

"This was our second stay at this well located hotel in beautiful Castallane. The staff are super - helpful and welcoming. The facilities are good with a lovely pool and seating area, and the rooms comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent and being outdoors types having decent fruit, cereals and bread in addition to the normal continental fare was welcome - cooked is available too. A great hotel in a super town."

"It would have been a perfect stay if not for certain things that reflected the lack of care in a hotel that could have been great. This boutique hotel was nestled in nature - and was a lovely stroll to the closest village with food options galore, parks, quaint shops & market stalls that you could lose yourself in. "Great setting. Easy to walk to the village for dining, shopping, and other tourist activities. The staff helped to make dining reservations for us. The hotel has a wonderful terrace for relaxing. The bed is very comfortable. We love the village and will look into staying here in our future visits. "
