"Just stayed here one night as part of a short visit to the Peak District. The hotel is right in the centre of the beautiful town of Bakewell, so extremely convenient. It’s a beautiful old coaching inn with loads of interesting history. The whole experience was excellent. Lovely room with all the facilities you need and the team in the hotel were fantastic. From the friendly and welcoming check-in experience to the restaurant team, the service was excellent. I would definitely return here and I highly recommend it if you’re visiting the Peak District. "Free parking, nice Staff, nice welcome, comfy room, nice breakfast, good bar. Ideal for exploring the local area and just 5 mins walk from the town centre. Plenty of pubs, clubs and bars and restaurants. We weren't disappointed! Came to Chesterfield for a theatre trip and to go abseiling in the peak district. Already booked to come back to this hotel for another weekend theatre trip in June."
