"One of the best places to stay in the Black Hills. My husband, kids and I have stayed at many different locations in the area. Mountain Escape is our favorite. The location is perfect. Beautiful spot just a few miles outside of Deadwood, right on the snowmobile trails, and right next to the gas station to fuel up. The cabin is perfectly set up for our family. "The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of room in the bathroom. We used the hot tub and pool and relaxed in the evening. There was a trolly stop in front that was convenient for downtown access. Breakfast was so good with plenty of variety. We loved our stay. Great Quality for the price. "

"This is a nice hotel for the price we paid in early May. It’s a quiet hotel just a very short drive from Deadwood. The tub/shower, toilet is separate from the sink area. The sink is in a very large cabinet giving you lots of countertop for all of your bathroom items. It’s an older hotel but we were very comfortable in our King bed room with small fridg and microwave. "

"We paid for a room with a jetted tub but got a regular room. To be fair, I didn’t remember when we checked in that this was the hotel with the jetted tub, so I didn’t say anything. The sliding glass door from our room exited into an internal hallway, not the outdoors. That door would not lock, so we had to use a walking stick to secure it. On the other hand, the staff were very nice and the breakfast was pretty good - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bread, muffins, juice, coffee,...
