I don't know if Radisson has significantly lowered its standards, but this hotel does NOT align with the quality I'm used to from Radisson. Everything about this hotel is dark, dirty, musty, and shabby. Everywhere I looked in my room, there was peeling wallpaper, crumbling grouting, and half-hearted faint plaster-overs of tile cracks, ceiling cracks, etc. The tub had a slippery basin and no non-slip mat was provided. I took a shower on Saturday morning, and there was still a half-inch of water in the tub on Sunday morning. The lobby is dim and shabby, and while walking through it one night I heard the bartender scold a patron for the tip given being too low. But it's more than just an all around lack of care and shoddiness--this hotel LIES on its posting on Expedia as well as on the Radisson site itself: There is NO restaurant. I booked this Radisson specifically because its description on Expedia indicated it had a restaurant and room service. At the desk I was told "well, there are a lot of restaurants around here...". NOT. GOOD. ENOUGH. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The Radisson in Addison was very nice. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable. I think the hotel was pretty full due to the eclipse but the room was quiet and I was not disturbed by noise at all. The staff was very nice, professional & helpful. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast and served my needs fine. Good coffee! The AC unit in my room worked very well but was loud. That did not bother me but if someone is sensitive to noise when sleeping they may need to ask for a different room. I would definitely stay there again!

The first room I was assigned had not been cleaned . Not only that but the sofa in the room was very stained. not just a few spots, it looked as though coffee had been spilled on it multiple times. However I was immediately assigned a new room on reporting this to the front desk. The new room was clean and stain-free, but the air conditioning unit was not working and there were a couple of other things missing from the room. The area where this hotel is located is excellent. There are many great restaurants, amenities, and other attractions within walking distance. Parking at the hotel is not under cover but it's free, very close to hotel entrances, and there's plenty of it. Breakfast on the second morning was good, but very disappointing on the first morning. All hot food except very soggy hash browns was gone well before 9am and was not refilled in the over 40 minutes I waited. This was also on a Sunday when a church group was holding a service in one of the meeting rooms. They were loud to the point of being disruptive. On checking out I reported the broken a/c to the front desk clerk. They were on the phone and I would have been happy to wait for their call to end, but they apparently wanted me gone asap. When I reported the issue it was not noted and the clerk could not have been less interested. That was unfortunate because other than that (and 1 bad breakfast) the hotel service was excellent. This hotel could be excellent but a series of flaws spoiled my experience.
