"Really enjoyed Carol's Cabin. Quietly tucked away. Very clean and reasonable price. Comfy bed. Much more offerred than a hotel. We were at a local wkd event at Frankfort. 7min away. Good communication. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen has everything. Breakfast coffee teas provided. Bathroom well stocked. Its on a highway, but felt hidden and noise was not an issue. Will return! Model experience! Perfect. "

"finally visited Traverse City for the first time, stayed here and enjoyed our time. It was only about 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. It was also a short drive to sleeping Bear dunes national Park, which was fun. Troy was very responsive to texts and emails and definitely went out of his way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. there was even a nice gift package with Thanksgiving cooking supplies waiting for us when we got there. Would recommend...

I enjoyed the hottub only once before my trip was cut short. It is next to the deck on back of house. We did find the bed somewhat hard, but added another comforter to sleep on and that helped a lot. Scott is readily available for assistance."

"We had a really great time here. The place was very clean and our pets loved the acreage to run and play. Very close to Traverse city where we took our 3 year to play for a day at Great Wolf lodge. I would highly recommend a stay if you are planning to visit the Traverse City area. I noticed there was even a place to go kayaking about 15 minutes down the road but it was too cold in March."

"This is one of our favorite trips of the year. We’ve stayed at this property for three years in a row and will continue to come back. The house is big and spread out. The kids and teens have space to watch TV and play in the game room in the basement while the adults watch the game or play cards in the living room and dining room. I saw someone mentioned that the coffee maker was slow. That was true, but the owners have purchased a new one that is top notch. The location is great as the ski hill is just around the corner, but you’re far enough away to not have the feel of the cramped condos on or near the hill."
