"We had a great stay in this property, it is in an unspoilt area close to 2 towns with all you need. A car is required to access the surrounding areas, climbing the local volcano is a must , lovely places to eat in cottilo, the area is safe and quiet ideal for kids, small pool is gorgeous and quiet. "Villa Dayley was just what we expected. It's in the lovely village of La Capinella just outside Corralejo. There is a regular bus but we hired a car for the week which enabled us to get around the island. The villa itself is well equipt, the TV is amazing with great internet and channels. A heavenly stay
"My partner and I stayed for almost four weeks at Gilbert & Lyz's place and had a wonderful time. The property, which was exceptionally clean, is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and when we needed something Lyz was happy to supply it. The garden is as beautiful as in the photos, it is fairly secluded and we spend many hours sunning ourselves there. Lajares is a great little village. We discovered a very popular bakery near the supermarket where we got delicious bread, and a fabulous pizzeria 'Roje Tomate' near the children's playground in the village. Venturing further out, a number of beaches and towns are nearby (about 15-20 min car drive) and during February they are not very crowded either. Driving is a pure pleasure, the roads are empty and are in pristine condition. We found that almost always the people on Fuerteventura are friendly, relaxed, helpful and ready to chat. The entire atmosphere feels safe and mellow. Gilbert and Lyz are wonderful hosts, we were warmly welcomed and had opportunities to chat with them about life on Fuerteventura which left us feeling very connected to this island."
