"My friend was subjected to urine-soaked bedding at this Hotel. He had suspected something was not quite right upon our check-in to Room 328 because the blanket was on top of the white bedspread. However, we wanted to get to a nearby baseball watch area. Fortunately he checked the bed before getting into it when we return. It was soaked with urine. The front desk clerk's efforts to accommodate us did not go well. Originally, I was told that there were no alternate double rooms. She offered us sheets for his bed. A few minutes later, she called Room 328 to offer another room, Room 215. I returned to the desk and was given a keycard for Room 215. The keycard did not work. I returned to the desk again and was given 2 more keycards. They did not work. After returning to the desk for a fourth time, another keycard was given to me. It worked. The problem was that there was/were already a guest/guests in that room. A guest in Room 215 yelled when I opened the door. My apologies to her. We were then given a keycard to Room 223, a single room.
There were a couple of other minor issues: water dripping in the bathtub in Room 328 and the fan above stove in Room 223 would not shut off.
I commend the staff's efforts to address issues on a busy weekend with a popular baseball rivalry nearby. But this was not a good experience."
