We looked for a hotel en route from London to the Italian Coast. This was so much more. Perched in a beautiful location on Mont Blanc, impeccable welcome, care, spa, dining, and really exceptional value. This hotel is unbeatable. It is almost so good that you would rather no one else knew...

We arrived at the hotel at midnight after a delayed flight. The hotel was so welcoming, preparing a platter of meat and cheese for us beside a roaring fire. The lounge areas are very welcoming with many separate areas which give a feeling of privacy wherever you are seated. It is the antidote to the corporate hotel!
The staff were unfailingly polite and always tried to please. Our friends missed breakfast due to tty difference and they were given breakfast in the lounge area.

My stay at Gran Baita was absolutely fabulous. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff and given all the information I needed for my ski trip right there at the front desk. The breakfast buffet was superbly varied and could accommodate for my large appetite early in the morning! Room was just what one person needs for a comfortable stay with a comfortable bed, great shower and a high standard of room service. There was a free shuttle to the slopes which basically revolved around you as you could request when you wanted to be picked up, either at the slopes to the hotel or vice versa. The evening bar staff were also very kind and social giving you a warm and cosy feeling.
Overall a fantastic little hotel, I will be going back there one day next year!
We were welcomed with the good news that, despite having booked a Standard room, we would be upgraded to a Superior room. Great start! We had a lovely room with a balcony at the front of the hotel.
The bar and lounge areas were well presented and comfortable.
A varied selection of food was on offer at breakfast.
