Lovely hosts, Lots of thoughful gestures eg flowers and selection of fresh cut herbs . Lovely fire to warm us up] on the recent cold snap made a cozy stay surrounded by a lovely garden. Our dog loved it too. Recommend

Fantastic getaway

Better than the photos!
We had a lovely stay at Shirley and Tim's cottage. It was presented to a very high standard - very well equipped with everything you need as well as warm and comfortable. The photos don't do it justice - it was even better in real life. Shirley was very welcoming. A great base for exploring the Coromandel or for chilling out and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Our Coromandel holiday
Shirley and Tim were lovely and made us very welcome. The cottage was spotless and had more than enough of everything that we needed for our stay, and was warm and cosy. In a very pretty garden setting.

Coromandel Gem
Loved this cottage and it's surrounds. Both Shirley and Tim were helpful and friendly. Stayed 5 nights by myself and felt very much at home. The cottage was true to listing and everything you needed was supplied. Also in a great position just out of town by Driving Creek. Hope to go back next year.

Lovely Cottage
Great host Loved the surroundings, so nice to be in country but so close to town, etc. Liked walk around gardens, quite and peaceful. Cottage has more than you need, so well equipped. Like to stay again.

Was an awesome break from Auckland, weather was fab sitting on a beach fishing, The stream down the back was amazing after being in the sun all day and the dog loved it big thanks to the hosts, will be back for my next small get away. and thank God for the AC cooling me down.

Quiet retreat.
Overall a very private quiet place to stay.Had everything handy to use and gardens were amazing.A topper would be good on the bed though as a bit hard to sleep on.Otherwise all good.

We loved our 3 night stay. Our dogs got to come with us and without the owners looking after our dogs we wouldnt have been able to do the Driving Creek Railway. We were so grateful to Shirley and her husband for doing this for us. Would definitely come back again, and DEFINITELY recommend staying here.

Peaceful paradise
The cottage is really great value for money - well priced but extremely well appointed. It felt like staying in a home away from home, there was nothing that we could have wanted that wasn't available - a complete kitchen, very comfortable bed, nice size bathroom (shower), and comfortable open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with fireplace, satellite TV, etc. The cottage is spacious, and the fresh cut flowers was a nice touch. We dined on the covered porch overlooking a lovely English style garden with birdsong and an adjacent orchard. Shirley the host was very pleasant and always up for a friendly chat and making sure we had everything we needed. This was the best holiday accommodation we've stayed at. Highly recommended.

Shirley and Tims cottage is so georgous. With a lovely walm friendly welcome from Shirley we felt instantly at home. The cottage is amongst the most beautiful cottage carden and trees so well maintained. The cottage is spotlessly clean and so well appointed. There is everything you need and more with georgous little touches every where. Comfortable bed and beautiful linnen you can just feel the love that has been put into this lovely place. 10 out of ten i didnt want to leave! Thankyou Shirley and Tim for sharing your beautifully property with us and welcoming our dog. Cant wait to come back.

Rustic once passed the lovely driveway but very welcoming. Tim & Shirley were lovely and helpful hosts. The gardens were delightful and the oven excellent. Would have liked to have book with them direct as not impressed with Vrbo’s very unhelpful app

Lovely unit in a beautiful garden
Really comfortable and well-appointed unit, with a lovely friendly and helpful host. Everything was thought of, including delightful flower arrangements in the rooms. Very warm and well furnished, our only regret was that it was too warm to light the fire! Highly recommend it, a great base to explore the area.

A beautiful place to stay.
We could not fault anything at Shirley and Tim's cottage. They gave detailed directions and handy hints for the area which was much appreciated. Idyllic cottage
The booking was easy as was communication with Shirley. I was met on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The cottage is in a idyllic garden setting, can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Inside was perfect - everything was supplied, lovely linens and towels, comfy bed and the wood fire jusf made it like home. Thank you Shirley and Tim.

Absolutely lovely. A very attractive and comfortable cottage accommodation. Only 2 minutes from Coromandel township but very quiet location. Fully equipped with lovely touches including flowers from Shirleys garden - she provided us with a cutting from one of her lovely flowering plants. Very warm and functional cottagewith great kitchen - bathroom and bedroom. Shirley was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation.

She had flowers in every room and the place looked so welcoming.The cottage is just gorgeous, nestled in garden, bush and orchard, with a couple of sheep thrown in! Shirley was absolutely lovely. A Spectacular Stay!
We stayed two nights at this wonderful spot. Gorgeous cottage and garden. Loved the little touches such as fresh herbs and flower arrangements from the garden. Cute and cosy cottage
Enjoyed a lovely stay at Orchard Cottage. Had fun strolling around the orchard and spotting an eel in the creek behind the property. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and Shirley made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing get away.
