It was a 3 night trip before traveling on, and we wanted an escape, proximity to the main sights, a beach, and uncover a gem. Jackpot in Casa Mosquito. "The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and speak very good English and Spanish. Great location right across the street from Copacabana Beach and very short walk also to Ipanema Beach. There is a Bike Itaú dock right next to the hotel, easy access for those who want to rent bikes that way. Good continental breakfast. Pool area is small but why would you really use it when the beach is right there anyway."
