The rooms were non-smoking yet someone definitely smoked in the room that we initially got. The second my mom and I opened the door to our room, we were met with the fumes of cigarettes from the previous guest and we gagged. The manager immediately changed the room for us and brought a contraption to the smoky room to suck out the contaminated air. Breakfast was subpar so it was as expected of a motel right off the street, but I’ve had better at other motels that had similar ratings. The walls were paper thin and whenever someone walked past our room, the floorboards would creak loudly.

Nice people, but you are paying to be close to Fort Jackson. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the tub would not turn off and dripped so badly I had to put a towel in the bottom to muffle the noise. The breakfast photo shows a microwave, but I don’t know why. It was toast and frozen waffles. If you want to be just outside the fort, this is the place. Towels and bedding were clean. But decor was dated and depressing.

never seen such a dirty room. There were spiders and other bugs that bit me in bed. So you want to live a unique experience (rent room 118. I'm afraid of bringing back bugs in my suitcases.

Look, the price tag is great. But the cockroaches? Not so great. The holes in the wall? Whatever I guess. The gap in the door to the outside? The tilt in the second floor? Not Super. But like I said, it’s cheap. And the sheets were clean (as far as we could tell) and there was a carb filled continental breakfast. So, grab a ding dong, feed it to the roaches, and be happy you didn’t spend that much. And then never stay here again.
