The only couple of drawbacks, albeit insignificant, were that parking was tight and no elevator. But it is a wonderful place, located in a prime spot.

Great place to stay in Cobh. Spent 2 nights and room was big enough for 4 adults with plenty of room. Chinese restaurant onsite was lovely, ended up eating their both nights we were there. Would stay again.

Lovely stay
The staff were super friendly and we were given a free upgrade which was very cool since it's only ever happened once to me. The only negative thing was we ate in the restaurant and I think my chicken was cooked in a pan with fish (or which had fish cooked previously and possibly wasn't cleaned thoroughly enough) since there was a strong fish taste from the chicken.

Amazing staff
I really enjoyed my stay, the staff are absolutely amazing, can just not do enough for their guests. Always happy and smiling and will bend over backwards to assist with any requests.

Cause beautiful and hot cute little touches. The room itself had a great view of the water stuff was very kind and helpful. We stayed here to get an hour cruise and the staff helped us and was very accommodating and kind and polite. It was easy to walk to shops and stores in Food Court. The community and environment was clean and beautiful.

From checking in and making sure our bags were delivered to meals to advice on what to do and see - every single staff member was friendly, efficient and welcoming! The hike up the hill from town is steep but to get to this lovely home away from home, it was very worth it! Can’t recommend enough.

The room we had (at the rear) had no view at all, completely obscured by a tall wooden fence. Getting to it via a narrow staircase is a little tricky with suitcases. However, the room itself was clean though very basic. The hotel is not close to the harbour as the pictures might suggest. I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is.

Beautiful view of the water out our front window. Walkable to the main part of town and the shore line. We were relocated to a property not at the hotel proper. It worked out great!

Extremely kind employees. Half the hotel is renovated and the other half has old charm. There is a Chinese food restaurant on-site however very walkable to other restaurants. We had an excellent view in our room. The parking lot/smoking area was a bit loud and made it hard to sleep at times.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Cobh. Staff are very friendly and their top priority is that their guest have a wonderful stay. Had the best shower while staying here. Rooms are updated and very modern.

Hello Gregory Thank you for your review, unfortunately yes Air Conditioning is an issue for about 2 days in the year here lol.....as we have a 200 year old listed building it is a big task and seriously expensive to install now, it is normally the modern 4 and 5 star hotels have air conditioning. Bare bones but sufficient!
This property was in a great location, but unfortunately our apartment was in the back and had no view. Definitely walkable to everything we wanted to see in Cobh. It was easy to find once we figured it out, but Google maps tried to take us across the road so it was confusing at fist. Free parking is great but on a hill so a little scary! Beds and pillows were okay, and the apartment was clean. We stayed in the self catering suites (family of 5 so we needed two rooms, thus had an apartment all to ourselves) - they're definitely bare bones with no extras, but we brought everything we needed so that was fine with us! Having three full bathrooms was a great bonus!! Staff was very friendly, but sadly they could not accommodate our need to do laundry since we were only staying one night. The restaurant was a little smelly; thankfully once we got up to our rooms we couldn't detect the odor.

Stayed here last night (5/26) while in the area on our Ireland road trip. Check in was very quick and easy, and the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly. He showed us to our room, which was a large room that looked to have been recently renovated. The room was large, comfortable, had a couch and large TV. The bathroom was large and had a great shower. The room had power outlets all over which made charging phones/tablets/battery chargers easy. The hotel also had a restaurant on site, but we didn't eat there since we were only in town for one night. Great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.
