"Don’t go here if you’re looking for a peaceful get away. A noisy hotel. They have concerts going on right outside your room until close to midnight but stage testing sounds start around 2-3pm when all you want to do is relax but hear instruments being tested as well as vocals. Then early morning the cleaners start making their own noise - if you’re looking for peace & sleep - then avoid. Staff are so busy you don’t get personal attention. Only positive is that it’s clean & in a good location. It’s a busy business type of hotel which attracts locals in the evenings - hotel guests are not a priority at that point - concert attendees are."

"My girlfriend stayed in Room 101, and the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment she arrived, the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. It was cold, damp, and uncomfortable, with a noticeable sense of moisture in the air throughout her stay. The room was also not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There were spiders present, and the overall condition of the room appeared dirty and unhygienic. These issues alone would have been enough to raise serious concerns about the hotel's standards. The most worrying issue was the bed. Following her stay, my girlfriend developed numerous bites all over her body, leading us to believe there may have been bed bugs or another pest problem in the room. This was extremely distressing and completely unacceptable for any paying guest. Overall, Room 101 was cold, damp, dirty, and appeared to have a pest issue. The condition of the room fell far below what we expected, and I strongly urge management to investigate and address these problems immediately to prevent other guests from having a similar experience."

"I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a very pleasant experience. I would especially like to thank Mr. Berkay Doğan for his professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional helpfulness. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and did not hesitate to take the extra step when needed. I truly appreciate his kind assistance and excellent service. I would be happy to return again with my family for a longer stay."

"Beware if you are driving - the hotel MUST sign you in if you are not arriving between the hours of 7-12 in the morning. We weren’t told about this and it made our arrival horrible. Our room, in the hotel’s annex was so noisy it was impossible to sleep, absolutely dreadful - it was relatively quiet between 4-6am. While the building is beautiful, the staff seem stressed and the noise is horrendous!"

"Positives: location. In Kaleici, so within walking distance of all the historical sights, Mermerli beach (800tl), traditional Hamman (eg. Sefa), bakery (Tarihi Balik pazari) and public transport (tram, bus, taxi) Areas for improvement: Communication. Emails sent prior to arrival not responded to - no access code provided. Telephone number left on front door. Not okay when a late anrrival. Advertisement needs updating to reflect current situation. Overall: A useful base but not really a hotel but more a room attached to a ‘bar’. There was no 24 hour concierge - no food amenities - no courtesy water nor kettle (in room) and no access to the roof top (door locked). The bar did not open during my stay. Re: comments from others re ‘noise’. Given its central location - yes - there was’ noise’ but it was the sounds of traditional live Turkish musicians, or the Muezzin, or contemporary music (all from neighbouring outlets)- all fine."
