They were dealing with a heavy odor in the lobby that the source had not been identified. Hopefully it's been identified and taken care of. We loved our stay.

At first, the price seemed reasonable, but then we discovered breakfast was not a part of the package. I will stay at the Hampton next time which includes breakfast. Coffee was available but cheap set-up. Overall, did not match the promoted atmosphere and history of the hotel. Just an average place. The Pickle and Pig was excellent food. Service was not the professional level I would expect from initial impression when walking in. Waitress did not have a servant approach to her role.

This is only walkable hotel to campus, so it is good for that reason. It is noisy being uptown, but the rooms are clean and bed comfortable. I wish there had been food to purchase other than expensive dinner, but free coffee was great. Staff friendly!

I enjoyed my two-day at the Elms, and would recommend it to fellow Expedia travelers. Everything is nice and in order. Styling is decided Old-School. My only complaint is that there is no refrigerators in the rooms, at least not in my King Standard room. I need a refrigerator for my medication.

Our room had a window right by where the dumpsters were. The dumpsters were being picked up at 7am and the noise from that along with another truck coming was about 40 minutes long and loud. Trash being brought out that morning was also very noisy and I was unable to sleep after 7am. The room was dirty. The toilet seat and the shower were not cleaned well. I don't think the bed frame was ever cleaned. The staff were very nice.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. It was super convenient for visiting Miami and exploring the downtown Oxford area. And the front desk staff was nice enough to allow us to have a late check out.
