"A blessing by chance. We missed our stop at Mykonos and had to detour to Ikaria. On the spot booked this hotel. We arrived and throughout our stay, we fell in love. Irene was the most sweetest and helpful person. The people of the town, also so nice and friendly. A beautiful hotel, accommodating, and a simple nice breakfast. "We stayed in the 'presidential suite', which was a really lovely apartment, with a stunning view over the sea. Breakfast isn't worth it - you would be better off going down to the town and eating in in one of the cafés. The one serious problem with this place is its location - it is very difficult to find, and no matter what your GPS or Google Maps says, you should go to the town first, then drive up the hill. Also, it is a long and steep walk down to the town, and a real ordeal to come back...

"We stayed in this lovely home for a week with a total of eight family members. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us without feeling cramped. The house is newer construction with three nice bathrooms and a functional kitchen. The views are spectacular and you can hear the crashing waves as you fall asleep. The house is just outside Armenistis but close enough to walk to town. It's also a short car ride to Nas. I would rent this house again without hesitation."
