A real disappointment. While certain areas of the hotel look up too date and fresh, others are really lacking. For example, saw several areas in the hallways where the carpet was not in such great shape. We had a two night stay. After checking in, I went to the front desk to tell them that our toilet did not flush properly. Without getting gross, just not enough water pressure to clean out the toilet when flushed. No action taken by the hotel. Reported it again on the second day. Still no action by the time we checked out. We ended up using the toilet in the public area.
We reserved and paid a premium for a "Superior Room with Balcony". I have no idea what is considered "Superior" about it. I was no larger than either of the standard rooms our traveling companions had. The door to the balcony had a sign in bold red letters reading, "Maintenance Access Only Strictly NO Public Access. When I asked about a rate adjustment I was told that was not going to happen as our room really did have a balcony. Silly me, I just assumed that it would be accessible.
An overall 2 to 3 star experience and no way worth the ratings given. Fable Hotels were 0 for 2 on this trip. Accor has a lot of work to do if they expect people to chose this brand. I won't be in the future.
